Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because of its focus on brand management and interaction with people and the inclusion of projects and programs. The curriculum's emphasis on interdisciplinary learning was a deciding factor for me. The curriculum includes practical sessions, projects and internships that help me prepare for future to interact and create a good impression with my clients. However some outdated topics could be replaced with modern and trendy areas like AI or data analytics for better alignment with industry demands. We have lot of case studies and classroom workshops to make learning more experiential. We interact and open up our ideas with the whole class hence making communication easier. Our teachers also use more interactive teaching approaches like peer learning and group projects and tons of workshops from industry experts to enhance learning. Exams are held at regular intervals typically with midterms and finals each semester along with internal assessments. The schedule is adjustable giving us time to prepare for our exams. Exams are challenging and focus on understanding concepts. For those who stay consistent with their studies its quite manageable but for students who rely on last minute preparation might struggle.

The college offers excellent internship opportunities through tie-ups with reputed companies and a proactive placement cell. Students are encouraged to gain hands on experience which significantly enhances their skills and employability. 1.Companies and roles offered: Top recruiters: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, Amazon, Flipkart. The placement cell oraganizes workshops, aptitude training and mock interviews to prepare students. Companies recruit interns through: •On-Campus Drives •Pre-placement Offers •Student-initiated Applications The internship opportunities provided by the college are diverse and industry-relevant, enabling students to apply their learning in real world scenarios. These experiences also open doors to full time job offers and give students a competitive edge in their careers.

Placement Experience

5

Placements at my college: Placements at my college are strong with reputable companies visiting the campus and offering roles across various domains. 1.Eligibility for campus placements: Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 6th semester i.e 3rd year. Ghis ensures that students have enough tjme to develop their academic success and build skills. Placement training sessions include mock interviews, resume building and aptitude tests. 2.Companies visiting campus and offers made: Top recruiters - TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon and ICIC bank frequently visit our campus. The offers made are in the last placement season around 300+ offers were made. 3.Packages offered: Highest package was ?10 LPA offered by Amazon. Average package was ?4.5 LPA offered by Infosys. Profiles offered: Software developer, Data Analyst and Quality Assurance and in the non technical field opportunities such as Business Analyst, Marketing Associate and consulting were offered. 4.Placement Success Rate; Percentage of students placed: Approximately 85-90% of eligible students secure placements each year. Students from technical fields have higher placement rates compared to nontechnical fields. 5.Plans after graduation: If I secure a good campus placement, I plan to start my career and gain industry experience, however if that doesn't work out I intend to pursue further studies such as a Masters degree in MBA. I would work on improving my skills through certifications or internships to enhance employability.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee that I am paying is 1,20,000 and we pay it in two installements i.e 60,000 per sem. The registration fee is 2000 per sem and the admission fee was 20,000 for my course. I took a new course which is specialised in bba so we have internships every other sem and our internship is conducted by Miles Soba where all our workshops or programs are conducted by them. They give us a wide variety of opportunities to learn about our course and how to excel in it.

Campus Life

Overall Campus Life experience My experience with campus life has been vibrant and enriching, thanks to the mix of academics, social events, and extracurricular activities. 1.Festivals and events: Technical fest - The Intra Collegiate fest, Connoisseur that happens every year and more fests. 2.Library Resources: The library is well equipped with a wide range of books, journals and e-resources covering academic topics and general interest areas. Utilities: 24/7 electricity with backup and high speed internet connection. Both hostel and rented accommodation ls offer a comfortable living experience while the hostel ensures a bit more vibrant campus life and affordability moreover we will get to knwo more people and be friends with everyone from different cultures and backgrounds and get to knwo nore about them. Students often weigh these options based on personal preferences and budget.

Admission

I chose this college primarily because it offered the perfect balance of academics, faculty support, infrastructure and career opportunities thag aligned with my goals. Compred to other colleges i have applied to this institution stood out in terms of placement records, industry connections and practical learning opportunities. -- Comprison with other colleges Course curriculum - Updated and industry relevant with strong practical components. Placements - High placement success with reputed companies and better average packages. Faculty - Supportive and approachable with a good mix of experienced professors. Infrastructure - Well equipped lab, modern classroom and extensive library. Campus life - Vibrant campus life eith many extracurricular activities and events. Location - Convinient and close to home eith extensive connectivity. Others colleges i have applied to: 1. Christ University 2.Jain 3.MCC Admissions received from: Christ (but in pune lavasa campus which i was not interested in due to the campus life) Rejected: MCC and Jain because they had limited speacilization options in my field of interest. Rejections and what went wrong: I was rejected by Jain which was one of my top choices because i missed the required cutoff for the entrance exam by a small margin. Also due to intense competition and smaller number of available seats. Admission process of my college: 1.Eligibility Candidates must have completed their 10 and 12th exams with a minimum score of 60%. 2.Exams accepted The college accepts popular exams such as NEET and CUAT. 3.Cutoffs Cutoffs vary by course and range depending on demand and competition. 4.Admission steps -Application Submit the application form along with required documents like transfer certificates, 11th and 12th marks card and proof of entrance exam scores. Complete payment of fees and document verification to secure the seat. 5.Overall admission experience The process was smooth with clear guidance at every step.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is fairly balanced which ensures that most students can receive adequate attention. The faculty is approachable and supportive. Many professors are willing to help outside class hours and are open to questions and discussions. Dr.Merrin mam is my favourite and one of the best faculty members because of her encouraging teaching style and ability to simplify the topics. She genuinely care about the students growth and make learning enjoyable. While most faculty members are good a few may seem less enthusiastic which could make their classes less engaging. However they're knowledgeable and helpful when approached. The course curriculum is relevant and covers most of the essential topics for the field. It includes both theoretical and practical aspects ensuring that the students are well prepared. My program includes projects and internships opportunities which gives me a good knowledge on the outside world and how to interact with people. Each semester has midterms, final exams and internal assessments. Exams are manageable if studied properly otherwise i do procrastinate quite a lot. Most students pass the exams as long as they prepare well. The marking is fair and transparent with partial credit given for attempts making the system encouraging for students.

Night Life

5

The nightlife around my college campus is relatively lively and provides plenty of opportunities for students to unwind after a day of classes. Whether it's relaxing in common spaces, visiting local eateries or or in the oxygen park. 1.Campus facilities and Timings: •Gym The gym remains open from 5pm to 7.30pm. •Cafeterias Most cafeterias close by 8pm but there are vending machines that operate late into that night. •Library The library closes by 8pm and on Sundays it's closed. •Public areas The common areas like gardens and seating spaces are accessible until late evenings but tend to quiet down by 8pm. 2.Hostels and Campus Timings: Hostel timings: for most hostels the entry cutoff is around 8pm for safety reasons but exceptions are allowed with prior permissions. Campus access: The campus gates close by 8-9pm though students who like to study late night stay by 9pm. 3.Hangout spots inside campus: Cafeteria: Students gather here in the evening to chat, eat or study in groups.
