It have a great infrastructure and great library filled with book

Dislikes

The management is kinda low key and the administration process is way too much lengthier

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is kinda good but the curriculum of course prepares the student for real world applications and for their further further carrer pursuit the timings are kinda not good for class because there are overally 1500 students including all branches for 22 batch so the timings are kinda not quite good

Internships Opportunities

The companies that often offer the internships are high radius tech Mahindra Wipro and many more they provide limited internships but there is a project submisson every semester in which there're two reviews one is minor and another is major

Placement Experience

From the end of 6th sem ie 3rd after wards the students are ready for the placement interviews. Companies such as tech Mahindra high radius and Accenture often come to take placement interviews and the highest salary is around 8lpa and the avg salary is around 4.5lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees for CSE is 224000 lacs including the hostel fees the tuition fees for a year is 149000 and the hostel fees per year is 75000 and the registration fees for per sem is 1500 the college provides study loan for the students who are having financial issue during the admission process only

Campus Life

Yes the one and only good thing that happens in this college is fest the annual cultural fest is conducted once in a year and every branch and every other courses are allowed .the accessibility of books and journals are kinda good because the library is kinda big

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided by the college in hostel room is -a bed -a bathroom -a table and a chair For 4 or 3 persons each and wifi is also provided but the availability and speed is below avg inside the hostel y'll not get any kinda internet coz of the lower availability of the network and now I reside in jj outside of the campus

Admission

Actually I choose this college for a degree only nothing more to expect than a degree obviously and the admission process of this college is like kinda slow it takes almost a day to complete the whole admission process and the eligibility to join is just 12th pass

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is kinda big like 1:12 and the faculty to student relationship is good and all the faculties are PhD qualified but some are kinda arrogant there are 2 class test and 2 mid sense after that the end sem exams are conducted and the course curriculum is kinda good

Night Life

Gym is provided by the college and a swiming pool is also provided by the college there is a central library and the famous places to hangout In side the college is cool parlour not actually cool and yeah it is safe to roam around at night

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

GIET AND IT'S INSIGHTS

I have not applied for any other colleges as I have left with no choice at the end for pursuing Btech and I have not scored good in JEE as I wasn't preparing for opting BTech.So for choosing private colleges in odisha I chose this because the place is remote and it is heard that the climate is very pleasant. The admission process starts at the month of May an amount of 20000 for seat reservation is taken which will be reduced from the final fees i.e. 2,39,000 when you come to the college admission that helds in the month of July inside the campus. The students and parents should come with the credentials required for the admission which are copies and originals of student's adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, Migration certificate, Father's adhaar card . Due to good faculty and provide good facility in laboratory for any kind of research.Education system is high profile level.24 hour open large library due to this system no money is spend in purchasing book.other training classes also available there.international conference are attained every year. study tour facility also available.some social services also provided by the institute.
