Maharaja College is reputed science College which is on top number in rajasthan. College have a good infrastructure. College building was built in 1933 and this college is founded in 1844 by British indian government. Very good college for science ug course in rajasthan.

Course Curriculum Overview

Maharaja college is a constitutional college of Rajasthan university, Jaipur. It is a UG science college. Bachelors In science stream - B. SC. PASS COURSE - CBZ, PCM etc. B. SC. HONOURS - physics, maths, botany, zoology, chemistry, geology, geography Maharaja also offers BCA course. Exam is conducted on the basis of annually scheme.

Placement Experience

Their is a placement cell in college. Some companies provides jobs to talent students on campus. BCA students and B. SC. students get placement in college.Placement in MAHARAJA college is average. Only 2-3 companies come over to the campus and select the 2-3 toppers only. No maharaja college does not provide any internship.

College Events

Various types of cultural events and sports activities organized in the college. Sports meet organized every year in which interested students participate in various types of game like cricket, athletes, marathon etc. Sparkle fresher party organized by senior students to freshers. Aqua rezia- 3 days youth fest. In which various colleges take participate in different types of activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible in maharaja college for B. SC. students. B. Sc. 1st year- 4000-5000 per annum B. Sc. 2nd year - 4000-5000 per annum B. SC. 3rd year - 4000-5000 per annum Fees for BCA course is expensive because it is self financing course not supported by university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided by central or state government under various scholarship schemes for talented, physically handicapped, sc/st, minority students. Numerous students get Inspire scholarship and MHRD higher education scholarship. No loan facility offered by college.

Campus Life

Sports meet organized every year in college for various extracurricular activities and competitions. Cricket tournament also organised every year by gokhale hostel students in which various colleges team take participate. Labs are very good and well equipped with modern equipment.

Alumni/Alumna

Students who pass out this college get jobs in every sector like- scientist, research, state government jobs, ssc, administration service, railway etc. Every year alumni meet organized by college in which senior students are invited and they inspire and motivate to students. Seniors are very helpful and good guide.

Maharaja College have brilliant, knowledgeable, professional staffs.The college is home to nearly 200 faculty and staff. All assistant professors and professors are very helpful for all students. Teachers use very easy method for teaching.

Likes

They are chilled and friendly to talk and ask
They are well behaved and well articulated
Casual in main sense and they are very well aware about condition of students

Dislikes

No one is in class during regular days of the week
It is easy to approach but in the end you have to visit the college for every issue or confusion
Most of them are well manner but some are just puthetic specially the head of examination department

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no one in class to teach you anything so it si altogether upon you whether you wonna study or not. I am a CA Finalist right not and since most of the things we have already stdies during are CA examinations we do not need to study them again but other are just left to study on there own since neither the students are interested to visit college neither the teachers nor the students since the college gives fake attendance to everyone. So it is only for those who are pursuing it for degree and are pursuing other engagements side by side. Here both Regular and Non-Regular are same just difference being that they need to give exam only once a year and we need to give twice.

Practical Tech Education with a Tight-Kint Community Feel

Likes

I like my hostel, accommodation is very nice
mess food is very tasty , scrumptious and homelike
the college is surrounded by greenery and breath taking nature!

Dislikes

The scorching desert heatwaves in the summer and chilling winter smog make walking across the vast, vehicle-free campus exhausting for a big chunk of the academic year.
Mandatory interdisciplinary projects and strict attendance policies leave little breathing room for students wanting to focus strictly on self-driven coding, competitive exams or independent side projects.
The campus is situated far off the highway in the industrial backdrop of Neemrana, there is virtually no social or city life right outside the gates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is industr-aligned with strong project-based learing and a mandatory final-year internship. Exams feature well-placed mid and end terms, though early theory subjects need more practical coding.

MY IMPRESSIONS ON THE UNIVERSITY OF FUTURE

Likes

The thing I liked the most is the nature around/in the campus.
The various options for sports and other outdoor activities.
The EAT system, which is better and healthier option for ACs.

Dislikes

A few meals on the mess menu are not that good.
Lack of normal-temperature water options.

Placement Experience:

NIIT UNIVERSITY placements rates are 100% and more important is that role fitment rate is also 100%. NIIT UNIVERSITY placements starts from 7th semister with Industry practice(IP). Many big companies come for the placements.

UNI OF FUTURE

Likes

Exposure via many known guests and personalities and experts of various fees that interact and share their opinion regarding many things with students.
Many clubs like shooting ,football,chess that are taken seriously here along with facilities for each of these sports
Opportunity to become volunteer for various fests organizing groups.

Dislikes

Water here is harsh in hostel, which causes a bit of hair fall.
Except for rooms and academic blocks heat during afternoon times is great if there are no clouds sometimes. Rest of times due to many trees its cool.
Strict gatepass system which ensures security of students but at same time troublesome for those who just wanna roam .

Placement Experience:

There are many exceptions here regarding placements and employbility. For interships students mainly start from their 3rd year but i know one student which is my senior that got an intership in their second year only since they had specific skills and colledge helped developing thier leadership quality and getting them the job

my college is very nice and all faculty members was very nice and very supportive , experienced, and very nice to teach to effective methods but interactive teaching methods could be increased overall it is a great place for learning

Dislikes

the college fees are quite high than the other colleges and considering the facilities , the fees seem higher than expected and reducing or restructuring the fees would make education more accessible

Placement Experience:

My college was very nice and provided wide range of couses and it is not get any placements but I am searching for job to both online and offlines and not many reuted companies visit the campus more focus on internships and any industry exposure is needed to improve placements

The management of the university is very bad

From last semester you're eligible for campus placement and the companies like Amazon, cipla, hdfc bank, dcb bank, kaabil finance pvt ltd. Are visited the campus and about 40-50% students are get placement and the highest package is about 70lac and average package 12lac rupees companies and profiles offered I didn't know more about this and the percentage of students are placed about 50% and my plan after degree to continue my master's.

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

Likes

Knowledgeable and skilled professors with years of experience
The campus has very greenery vibes which is very pleasant
The class size of student are small which help in better teaching

Dislikes

No proper lab facilities for biotechnology subject
Very less teacher teach biotechnology as compared to other subjects
Fees is very high as compare to other subjects in the same university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good in term of relevance. It is well structured and have all the topics covered which are required for Master’s students to know. The subjects are divided which students can choose according to them each semester.

Infrastructure is very good it looks very awesome and also have optimum space for playing and studying outside
All facilities are available inside campus including canteen and all
No disturbance faculty is very cooperative and knowledgeable

Dislikes

Mess food with bad taste and repeated food
Place is not good for lazy man too much work and very hard course
Outside of campus very restricted and traffic area

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester placement are available Agrotech, agrostars, mushroom products etc. companies are available here for interview based placement I got about 6-7 offers for joining Package depend on your skills and knowledge and also your semester that you have read in current average package is 2.5-3.5 lacks For good placement you have score above 7.5 ogpa For preparation of ICAR pg exam is my next goal

Trip to Maharajas - one of ancient collage

To get the admission in the collage one should be have good percentage in higher secondary class which is around 85% plus. To get admission one should apply online using the website that is www.uniraj.in which updates the students about the admission forms and dates and about the marrit list who are choosen for their document verification and to deposit their caurse fee. In the list the students who are choosen on the basis of their caste basis reservation category and their percentage of their higher secondary class The exams are conducted on the yearly basis which are conducted around april - may month and the difficulty level is not very much hard which means that any student with their basic knowledge and the little efforts who attended the classes regularly.
