Remarks

There are no Negative remarks about my college. Burdwan Raj college is one of the best colleges of West Bengal. Day by day and present days our college is grown up very well. I just visited last week and i shoked to be looked our college. Everything is changed.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course duration was 3 years degree course. 1st year i have 3 main subject with compulsory bengali and english. After that from 2nd year we have only main subjects and then started of their practical sessions. Per year one exam held thats the final exam of that year. Part 1 exam full marks was 100 and from part 2 the marks were per subject 200

Placement Experience

Honestly say I am B. Sc pass course graduate. Thete are no internhip for Pass course Graduates. Graduates who are BBA, BCA, they got internship and placements from college campusing. So no stipend for me sorry. Overall experience was great in college

College Events

We are From west bengal and in bengal there are twelve months but 13 festivels made. In college every festivals were celebrated. Like saraswati puja. And the main celebration was The freshers party. Respect every freshers. There are a yearly college social celebrated, renown artists are invited in this ceremony

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is attached to Govt of Bengal affiliated to The University Of Burdwan. The fee structure is feasible for us like middle class familians. Per year admission fees are 1700 rs and also before exam 400 rs and complete one year. This will happened every year. Courses like BBA, BCA those are expensive i can say for us. You

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships for girls Kannyashree prokolpo By govt of west bengal, also scholarship for the SC / ST candidates. There are no loan facility available in college as i know. For the toppers are every department, they got scholarships offered by college. Thats it as my opinion

Campus Life

About extracurricular activies i dont know, as i know that labs and sports. I was a science graduate so i had physics and chemistry practicals in lab. I loved the classes of my chemistry lab. Laboratory equipments are very good quality and fresh. Safety first. No leakage on anything. Seriously I didn't like my physics lab. Instruments are not as per students.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were really helpful when i was freshers they came withe and find my classroom. At a time i had some issue with my first part 1 exam, before my exam i didn't find my admit card, that time my seniors helped me a lot to find my admit card copy from college office assistants. Thats it

Faculties are very friendly with all of the students. If there they got some time they took extra classes. With practical classes. They are just awesome. There are good quality of practical instruments.

Good Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3. The admission process is totally Merit base , like they will qualify you by checking your marksheet of +2 and they'll give you merit score and by that you can get an admission but the registration method is so much time holding which i discussed before....Read More
