Course Curriculum Overview
Really good teaching about the course of any type. College mostly believe on pratical knowledge on theoretical knowledge and makes real- world applications. More internships are provided. After completing of first unit of ever subject slip test one is conducted then after 2.5 units completed then first mid is conducted. And same for next half of syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Many internships are given in the college. Recently government internship of aicte is approved for our college for ECE department for micro chips development. Many projects and mini projects are done and college has one one of the compitition an Chennai too for its project. College also has a iEEE student branch from which recently 2 teams have selected for second round in which allover india teams have participated and 2 teams were in the top 30 teams all over India
Placement Experience
Campus recruitment training is provided from the first year without any extra charges. Many other colleges ask to pay extra charges for the CRT classes. Placements are given in the college at an average of 3.5-6 lakhs per annum. Highest package was 24 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
At first year we should pay Rs1,18,000 total fee and next 3 years we should pay Rs1.12.500 . The one lakh is the tuition fee and 18000 is the Library fee for 4 years. 12,500 in next 3 years is special fee for records and lab fee. For reservation candidate college also accepts government scholarships as epass. Ad I got a scholarship of 35,000 as a OBC candidate, so I only pay 65,000 as tuition fee and SC or ST candidate pay only 15,000-20,000 as tuition fee and else is paid by scholarship. College also provides bus transportation we can avail that for around 29,500 per year.
Campus Life
We have 5 social clubs in the college. Matrusri campus connect(MCC) this is basically a organizing club of the college which organises every event in the college. Orators club the literacy club of the college. Photography club for people interested in photography. Dance and music clubs for there interests.
Admission
I choose this college because of its reputation. And this College is in the city centre where everything will be available. The cutoff rank of this college was near to my rank that is why I choose this college as it's in top 20 colleges in the state.
Faculty
Experienced faculty and HODs for every department. Faculty students ratio is 1:30. Friendly faculty and can be approached any time for doubts. The exam structure is per sem we have 2 sliptests for 10 marks 2 mids for 20 marks and 5 assignments then sem is conducted for 70 marks, the internal 30 marks are given by internal exams(sliptests and mids). Night Life
There is no night life as there is no hostel inside the campus. Library is open till 6pm and is one of the best libraries in the city. Cafeteria is totally veg but the number of items in the menu is high and one of the best places to have a chit chat with friends and to hangout while bunking classes
