Course Curriculum Overview

Chartered accountancy course influenced me to choose Bcom. This course is half way related to chartered accountancy basics and prepares the base for CA course. There is no improvement needed in the course and teaching methods. Exam timings should be a bit late to get ourselves prepared for the exams.

Course Fees: INR 8300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Rs. 8300 after every semester(in every six months) Rs. 890 examimation fees Rs. 400 center fees Rs. 350 for practical fees needed after every six months for semester end examination. And 8300 for semester admission

Campus Life

Freshers and Farewell are held. Freshers are held at the end of September or in the beginning of October month. Some study related books are only available in the library and not outside books. Social groups and other club are run by students and are helpful and sports are held and notices are provided

Admission

Only form fill up is required to get admitted to the college through portals. No i did not get any rejections from any college i have applied to this college because it is near to my house then other colleges. I had applied to colleges in Pune and Bangalore.

Faculty

Faculties are approachable and helpful and friendly to the students. Department of accountancy faculties are more friendly and approachable. Exams are quite easy and sessional exams consists of 40 marks core paper and 20 marks AEC, SEC and MDC papers and Semester end exams consists of 60 marks core paper and 45 marks AEC, SEC, and MDC papers

Night Life

Gym facilities are available and library is available inside the college campus. and hostel is also available and outside the college there are hangout places like Ropeway terminal and Yes the locality is safe around at night

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

Present the documents along with photocopies after scoring the qualifying marks and post that the college authorities will give you an acknowledgment slip which confirms your admission in the college and can also be used as the College ID until you receive the actual college ID.

I prefer this college because of its affordability and location. I have aaplied for other colleges too but i have a fond of love with chemistry as i want to go in deep research so i went to this college and choose this course. My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

I was preparing for competitive exams like JEE and CUET , but they didn't work out and most of the colleges like Cotton , B Borah and all dosent provide BSc in computer science. I didn't got a rejectection , but the seat was completely filled by the time i got there. The process for getting admission is : After class 12 results, you have to apply in a website called Samarth , to apply in all over Assam colleges. You can apply in how many you like . In some colleges you can take addmission through JEE scores , or by CEE And by CUET also . The cutoffs aren't much high for this college, 60-70% will get you addmission in Pragjyotish college.
