Course Curriculum Overview
It was the semester based exam system . We had total 4 semesters in our course . We also had CBCT as subject , in that we had to choose one subject from other department . We had project in our last means 4th semester and I scored A+ in that .
Placement Experience
Yes do offer internship , engineering placement was not that that much good , moreover the sad point is there is no placements for mathematics students without PhD . So it's quite depressing though it was ranked 5th in India .
College Events
Techxetra which is organised by the group of engineering department and Inscignis which was organised by mathematics , physics , chemistry and molecular biology and biotechnology department happens every year .
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's not that much expensive . Specially our mathematics department charges around RS 15000 per semester and for MBA and other departments like engineering department and MCA department's students pay more money .
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some scholarship for one girl child of their parents , and basically I only get one scholarship for being Scheduled caste . University offers many other scholarship for the students who scored good in their academic session .
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities like , our University have swimming pool , ground for basketball , football , cricket , specially have a lot of body workout equipments , and there's many labs for the students of chemistry , physics , biology , engineering , mathematics , MBA , MCA , Art's etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are pretty good . There is different hostels for boys and girls who scored good in their courses and who are doing PhD in their respective subjects and the other hostels are pretty good and all the facilities are available in every hostels .
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful , they always try to encourage us to read steadly and inspire us to work hard , specially my seniors help me a lot to do my project and to understand the elective subject which was in my course . I specially thankful to my best friend who helped me a lot during this program and always stands besides me .
Admission
By cracked the entrance exam which was held in University of North Bengal , and selected as a student of Tezpur Central University in the course M.sc in Mathematics. I was scored 2nd in Scheduled caste category .
