Student's Snapshots

Campus

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose ECE course at it would master the electronics and computer science field and would provide job opportunities more ahead. Also it's a very developing stream at present. But what I experienced here is that the curriculum is not updated on recent trends. It will be better if they include the recent inventions and update their labs

Internships Opportunities

3

The intership offered by the college are central government companies where they teach and build a project together. Also we have to do two mini project and one final year project from second year. The company I went is NSIC in guindy.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here if you join my management is 120000 and by tn councelling would be 75,000. There are many scholarship given to the students by govt and also private that are encouraged by the college and makes way to it. The donation before joining in management seats would be 1-3lakhs based on the course. The hostel fees will be 90,000 pe year and if you opt for AC rooms it would be 1,20,000. The ST SC scholarship will be 50,000 per year.

Campus Life

3

The technical fests here are conducted once in a year but each month a tech competition would be held and rewarded. The fest is Aavishkar at March to April. The library here is pretty good as it contains all the course materials and even placement guides. In accordance to sports it's a decent college but more than sports it's main importance is NCC. NCC here has very good scope

Hostel Facilities

4

In hostel it's a decent college to say. The rooms contain 4-5 people and has 2 restrooms in each room. Has study tables and specific lights. Also has a balcony. The food here is not bad it's decent. The menu is very common food and the taste remains okay. I can't say it's too good it's fine or good.

Admission

I also applied to other colleges but due to my personal reasons I wasn't able to attend the entrence exams at that time. After that this college was suggested by my brother that's how I joined. I didn't have any specific reasons I just wanted a college that can provide all the basic requirements with a fair fee structure. The councelling requirements will be around 90%+ for OBC category and will be 70+ for st and sc. For management it doesn't have any category here just pass is also fine.

Faculty

4

The faculty in our department are good that they teach around covering all the concepts and they're friendly. We can easily approach any faculty around the college and it's easy to make convo with them. Some senior faculties are a bit attitude around here but that happens in all the places. The exams conducted here for a semester will be two CIA exams and the semester exam. Model will be conducted just for the practical exams. It's not too difficult to attend for a medium student it will be okay

Night Life

3

The cafeteria are not so large it's a decent place to get all the requirements. Hostels have gym for the students to access. The library is good opened until evening 5-6 and have good amount of books. The college is in remote area so there's no places around to look around. To go for a decent hangout place it would take around 20 minutes

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
