Remarks

The college management is not good . As i said they will train you to get good marks in Semesters so they the college ranking will go up in university . They will not train you to get a good job . But As is the case in every UPTU college .

Entrance Preview

You will have to get a good rank in UPTU preferably under 15000 to get an Admission in good Branch under General Category. I scored 16098 . I opted for this under 2nd round of Counselling . Because it was the best ranking wise I could get.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is similar to what you will see in Btech for UPTU . The actually have a very limited knowledge barring one or two and they believe in giving crammed up knowledge .

Internships Opportunities

No internship are provided by the college or arranged by college . You will have to find yourself.

Placement Experience

Placement is fair according to the UPTU standards . Not very good or bad . But it is advisable to give other tests like AMCAT and Elitmus as well.

College Events

Yearly Fests , Freshers Party , Teachers Day , Engineers Day , Alumni Day , Farewell etc are the events in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is ok and in accordance to the UPTU rules . I am not sure how much it is now . Although the hostels can be expensive , So for people from other cities it is better to take a PG.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of that . But the college facilitates for loan based fee payment provided given a good reason.

Campus Life

The labs are good with fine instruments , The campus outer space in becoming less and less as they are building new facilities for hostels . So very congested during fests and lunch times . Again Sport ground is very small . Barely you can play anything . Basketball court is there.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food is not good and the hostel is very old and dilapated.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are fine . No ragging issues . Mostly they will take introductions only . Ragging is strictly prohibited by college and more importantly students follow that seriously even hostelers.

Exam Structure

The sessionals / Internal Exams are not hectic and a re properly scheduled . The externals you need to give in a different college decided by the university.

The faculty gives more importance on getting marks than to actually impart knowledge that would help in placements.

The course curriculum for tech branches still need to be improved as many important courses are not taught due to lack of faculties. The college still lacks necessary required labs for many branches which can give students hands on experience and make them industry ready. students from 6th sem are elligible for the campus placements , very less tech companies visit in our campus that are also local companies offering 3 lpa apx package , non tech companies visit the campus more , offering upto 7 8 lpa , companies are Jaro education , geeksforgeeks ,HCLtech , superhouse etc etc, approx 15 16 students got selected by a company , the average package are offered are 4.5lpa and max according to be is 9 lpa , oncampus offer students are mainly placed through off campus at good package like 6lpa , 16 lpa , 20lpa , oncampus is maximus 7lpa apx 25% students are placed on campus 10 11% offcampus

Remarks:

Our college is developing so with the passage of time its facilities are increasing enormously. And more over our college is very good with supportive facalities and good classmates too. The one small bad thing for our college is that the transportation. Its some what poor.

I applied to Delhi University but they did not have btech so I did not select that college. Apart from this I applied to rkgit and niet but they were too far from Delhi. I did not get rejection, I just couldn't join them because either they did not have the course I wanted or they were too far from my home. My college admission process is pretty simple, you can take direct admission by visiting the college or fill councelling online and select this college. One needs to score around 3 to 4 lakh rank in jee for cse branch in btech and for other courses jee is not important you just have to score more than 60% in boards for pcm....Read More

My review on Inderprastha engineering college

Other than IPEC, i wanted to join SRM Chennai. I was not able to join cause i was late to application and the only course that was available was Biotechnology. So i joined IPEC, in year 2021 it was under top 10 category for top colleges of AKTU. And also it was close to my home. Easy transportation, close to home, nice infrastructure. The admission process was quite easy, it took almost three days for me to fulfill it. And out of that one was only college tour day. Other two days took to fees submission and all documents submissions. The eligibility was decided by affiliated universitythat is AKTU, which is most of the time around minimum 70-75% in PCM.
