Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course curriculum of our college is very outdated and not for the real world we just study to pass our exams and I don't think It prepares us for the real world issues but there are some faculty in the college who inspire and motivate us to improve and gain knowledge out side the college exams , now about the exams , we have 2 semester exams in a year and before every semester we have 2 mid term exams and lab internals and lab externals the schedule before the semester exam is tightly packed with all the internals , mid 2 and externals

Internships Opportunities

3

As I first year student of college I don't know much about our college internships but as far as I know from my seniors TCL company frequently vists our college although big companies like Amazon Google dont visit our college we have fairly good placements

Placement Experience

4

The placements of our college are quite good according to our seniors the highest package last year was 40 or 50 lpa and the average package is around 10 lakhs per annum I think it is good and although I don't have an idea about the internships but many seniors I know are doing some sort of internship in their 4th year almost 70 percent people get placed in our college and I think of a getting a placement after my degree herw

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course ( cyber security ) college is 100,000 rupees and for some of the courses it is 50,000 rupees the eligible students can avail scholarship from Telangana epass . Before joining the college they take an admission fee of 5,500 rupees and a challan of 100 rupees as for me I get a scholarship and full fee reimbursement from Telangana government so I don't pay any fees except for the admission fee at the starting of the college

Campus Life

5

The campus life of my college , I would say it's great the college has a big campus and open gate and a lot of freedom just watch out for 75 percent attendence and you can roam free the atmosphere of the college is very good and there are many clubs in the college that you came join there is an indoor stadium for shuttle and stuff in the college along with a very big ground there is also a swimming pool in our college our college also has a gym and teb canteen is a great place to pass time

Admission

I wrote some private college exams and got a good score but to join those colleges I needed to pay the tution fee which is very high so I opted for eamcet colleges because of the fee reimbursement I get from Telangana government I got a seat in vnr vignana Jyothi college in my first round of eamcet councelling but I chose jntuh over that because of less competition over jobs in jntu as it a government college with a limited intake of students there are only 70 members per branch in this college while some other private colleges have 200 to 300 members per branch the competition here is less

Faculty

3

A few faculty members of the college are good but there are some who don't teach any thing and act like they know everything there is a class called computer aided engineering graphics in our college and the professor teaching that subject is the worst . The college is hiring guest faculty due to lack of teaching staff and most of our classes are taken by guest faculty

Night Life

4

As I previously said there is a gym , swimming pool and an indoor stadium in our college and it's quite lively in the campus but the college is in the heart of the city and the metro is very close like 800 meters those in the college hostel have to return by 8 pm but for first year girls you should return by 6 pm the canteen is a great place to hangout and there are also several malls out side our college which are very near and there a few theatres also and all of these are at just 1 km distance from college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
