Remarks

First I got my medical seat in government medical College nalgonda but I preferred Government medical College suryapet as it near by to my home place and located in main city outskirts and op is also good ggh suryapet

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum prepared by them also greatfull to us and we are satisfied with that schedule they are following now as it won't make more pressure on us .the timings were from morning 9 to evening 4 clock

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The government of Telangana provide 26000/- of money while the students are doing the internship.regular duites were done by the internship student as they have to manage their studies and neeed to do work in hospital for long hours.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid at the joining of college 27000 for admission into the medical College and 29000 for hostel fees,as many of us as applied for ongc scholarship and if get that scholarship we. Recieve eight thousand.

Campus Life

Sports are conducted for every year fest conducted by the college management and every batch on the college will compete for the games.as newly the clubs are forming. In the college as it was constructed recently only

Hostel Facilities

For the fourth year students single room are provided,while internship students will leave the college and leave outside the hostel and the students from first year to fourth year each room was allotted for three students and common washroom present .and the mess food is manageable to live

The faculty of the medical College were awesome the way the dedicated was great ful and the way they take care of us also beautiful.hope the bond between us continue like this.Exams are conducted frequently to make us scared for final exams

Night Life

As gym was there in college with limited equipment, a cafeteria is present in the college and a spacious library is also present in the college.No more hangout places were present in suryapet as it was not well developed

Likes

I loved the campus ,its soooooo green and peaceful,
Ig compared to other clgs,teaching here is better
I feel very safe inside the campus ,but its too strict

Dislikes

Over strictness,u will have curfew ,u are not allowed to go out of the campus without permissions,u have to wear uniform,too many restrictions
I feel that the management should have more coordination
Restrictions, u are not allowed to bring phones to the classrooms ,if found u will have 10k fine

Well Our faculty does tell us their personal experiences while explaining topics And Coming to timings for exams Well U will have to write many slip tests and assignments And u will have to pass ur internals to write proff exams

MRIMS, one of the best Underrated Deemed medical college.

Likes

The hospitals affiliated to medical college have an excellent patient flow, there are 4 hospitals of malla Reddy in the campus, there's a Narayana multi-speciality hospital, mother & child care hospital, malla Reddy hospital and cancer hospital.
There are more than sufficient sports activities available at the college, there is a huge football ground and cricket ground, turf, basketball court badminton court and table tennis
The food in the mess is really great, non-veg food is served daily, there are a lot of food stalls of cafes and other major brands inside the campus like Barista. The lecture halls, practical labs and classrooms are well maintained and spacious.

Dislikes

The vegetarian dishes made in lunch usually suck, but I'd say in comparison to other hostels, the hostel of this college serves edible food, but in comparison to non veg dishes the vegetarian dishes don't taste that good, so veg people face problems
There's a lot of construction going on in the campus as of now, which makes the campus look aesthetically non-pleasing, but it's only for the time being as it recently got converted to deemed University they are upping the standard of the infra.
The hostel room given to some of the boys are relatively bad to the other hostel rooms. We weren't given tables, cupboards and chairs when we arrived at hostel, after a month we were provided all the basic necessities.

The course is CBME approved, so there's no need to worry about the curriculum. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has introduced a new Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum for the MBBS program in India. It emphasizes the development of specific competencies, such as clinical skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum is divided into three phases: Foundational, Organ System-Based Clinical, and Clinical. Assessment includes continuous assessment, practical exams, theory exams, and OSCEs.

Likes

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

Government medical college suryapet, a honest review

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified and way of teaching is impressive
Infrastructure is very well developed and new with well equipped lab and refreshment areas.
Connectivity from various major citiea are easy as college is just 2 hrs away from Vijayawada and Hyderabad

Dislikes

Climate us very hard to adjust with. Its mostly dry and hot
Local language is a bit hard to learn and most locals are very less educated
Syllabus is very vast and so there are very regular classes which feels quite tiring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

It’s just college life

Likes

It has an equal boys to girls ratio and gives us many opportunities to interact and also learn from my classmates. The playgrounds are always available and it has space to walk. The hostel is comfortable and it provides us with healthy food.
The teachers are very helpful in answering doubts and also even if we approach them for basic problems like even hot water they help us lead to the solution and make us believe everything is okay or soon will be fine.
The friends I have made help me from getting overwhelmed when I am homesick and also study with me which gives all of us confidence.

Dislikes

As I have dust activity it actually is a bit of a problem due to the construction work going on and there is dust everywhere but the classes are provided with Acs which help me deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.

The admission to this college just like all other govt medical colleges is through NEET UG examination conducted by NTA. A student with an all india rank of around 22000 will be alloted a seat in here(obc/gen) A student belonging to the state of telengana with an all india rank of 115000 could be availed a seat through state quota counselling by state government. I have applied for other medical colleges in kerala university of health sciences and dr mgr university of health sciences tamil nadu. My applications has been rejected because of the high cutoffs in those states. Admission process to this college takes around 15 days and is easy to apply online. The cutoffs trends shows an increasing pattern over last 10 years so the cutoffs could go higher in upcoming years too. The college is ranked around 6th position out of all govt medical colleges in telangana state. No interviews or group discussions should be faced for admission to this college. Life at GMCS

The only way to get in this college, is through NEET Counselling which is held after the the NEET examination, for which you can apply after your 12th grade. An aspirant's college is decided according to the type of councelling they participate in, the state they belong to and their rank in neet examination along with their category. AIQ students, who are 15% here, have a high cutoff to get into the college, around 660 marks for general category, lower for others. State quota students who got the college alloted through the state councelling had low cutoff due to low competition, cutoff being 595-600 for general category....Read More
