Strictness, bad location so that dependency on town is increased, bad cleanliness
No placement, unpaid internships, extrinsic stress,
Quality of food is not good, infrastructure is not good

Literature inspires me a lot so that it influences me a lot The course help me to see the world In a different way I like to read stories that influenced me to take English Literature is the mirror of the society,,,it reflects the real life world,, it provides replica of the real world

Admission

I apply in other colleges but I reject that college because I got good opportunities in this university so I changed the college and chose this college over that CPET entrance exam Cutoffs- have to got placed between above 200 rank

Faculty

Faculty-to students ratio - 1:20 Strict but approachable Exam-4 semester and assignments Fail student-8 to 10 percent I like every faculty member I have They are very supportive The environment is very peaceful

Night Life

Gym in hostel with proper equipment's Cafeteria and canteen is a good hangout place with beautiful ambiance Hostel timings for girls is 7.30pm and for boys it is 10 pm Cafeteria, library, canteen and good location near University for hangout

College infrastructure and surrounding is great
Smart classes and free WiFi was provided in the campus.

Dislikes

Teachers are not that good . They don't know the concept well.
Classes are not held properly as per the schedule

I was interested in literature since the beginning. And the course curriculum is perfect. I want to discover the deeper aspects of English literature hence I choosed the course. Total 8 exams will held.

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Overall the university is good to go

Likes

I like faculties friendliness. Guidance and support in every area.
I like overall our study pattern, our syllabus our projects our viva our seminars
I like the cultural programmes and events so much our jublee and many more where we learn and enjoy at the same time

Dislikes

I don't like our campus canteen. In our time they newly opened and there food is so cheap.
I don't like counters clerks behaviour. They stretching things so long and we have to wait for that that's awful
I don't tike the office staff behaviour they are very lazy. A small work get done in many days

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum and subject syllabus decided by our HOD and chairman. They make the syllabus in order to understanding upcoming era. The add subject like film studies that in whole Odisha in only 2 University. One is Bargarh University and another one is our university. There are semester exam in every 6 month in 3 years course. Questions are not that much tough. Faculties are supportive also.

When u r in final year, placement in the university get started. 3-4 LPA was the avg salary and companies like Accenture, Jaro, different internship program also came to University Many students gets NET JRF guidance for free also

The faculties are well qualified and guide for the future.

The college campus is very big and widely.
There is no indoor game facility for the students.

Remarks:

Yes, my college was most of positive side. I had some good experience with good teachers and some with some bad teachers. But overall it was a good experience. i would recommend every one if you want to join. do it.
