Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum in not modern but covers all the basics very well. There is some casualness in how detailed some individual courses are to a specific subject but overall it is high quality. There is a fundamental availability of time and room to explore which allows students to freely choose courses and explore themselves. That said i personally believe that the curriculum could benefit from becoming tougher and more aggressive I took the course due to good reputation of the university and history of the university. Real-world applications are taught proficinetly modern equipment and teaching methods can be implemented Examsn can be tougher

Placement Experience

4

We can sit for placements sem 7 onwards 2 companies from Faang, BCG form big 3 and 2 from big 4 offers range from 5 lpa to 80 lpa highest has gone to 50 lpa and averages around 10- 12 lpa percentage fo students placed will be 70 per cent I am planning to work at collegedunia

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees started around 200000 for the first year then increases by 10k every year, the area around the university is affordable to live in. If a student is taking a loan, they are expemted from late fee and other extra burdens. I personally had not takes any scholarships nor financial aid but i am under the impression that the system is fair and just. breakdown was - tuition was 200000, caution fee was 10000, registration was 50000, etc there was ews waiver which allowed the students to attend the university at low rates

Campus Life

5

10s of festivals, engi fest being most prominent the library is vast sports team is decorated but no faculty to manage all sports are offered on campus DTU is known for the vast amount of societies most well known being defiance razing the formula student team

Admission

I had applied to IITs, BITS and other teir 1 universities in this space. I was personally leaning towards govt. Institutions have come to realize how the gap is decreasing. I got into bits civil, nsut mechanical, shiv nadar, Bennett etc I got rejected from IITD due to cutoff fail eligibility ranging from 85 tp 99 for certain specializations, it is done through Delhi JAC, COE is the most popular and admission process is simple

Faculty

3

The faculty demographic is diverse. The faculty is highly decorated with experience and recognisable names across the industry. Depending on ur branch, faculties are sometimes traditional in how they conduct their classes, use if technology and grading but else they are competent educators. Faculty to student ratio was on the lower end around 80: 1, and faculty relationships is limited. Good faculties include RS Mishra sir, highly dedicated. Prof N Yuvraj was not up to DTU standards and inflexible exams per semester range from 10 - 15 and difficulty is subjective. mostly people cleared the examns

Interview Experience

5

no written test just the JEE mains score was considered. Its a test testing physics chemistry and math with a +4-1 score rating for a 300-mark test with 2 questions from each subject totalling to 75 questions

Night Life

5

NIghnlife inside campus is good outside campus is slightly dangerous as it is located in rohini and not the most lively area in delhi , food and certain activities are accesable including medical facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.
