Postive remark is that this University in only for those who want to become a govt. office clear UPSC become any civil servqnt or clear any competition. Negative remark is that this University doesn't givea you regular classes it only provides you a study zone where you can study and compete with competitors.

exams are held only once in a year and no classes (less than20%) run whole year. Attendence is not compulsory for the students so the students who prepare for various exams they don't come to class and when there is less strength in class then the proffesors are also not interested in teaching so they don't come. In one month hardly four to five classes run.

There is no such facility provided by any of the department or might be available in MBA but not in any other courses. do this University only provides you the degree of graduation and for knowledge you have to study by you self. So it is preferable to join a coaching class for your subject if you want to gain marks and I have also heard that marking is also very strict.

No events are the except freshers party and admissions were done in the month of july and the classes started in august but we got our freshers party in the month of November / December And if anyone wants to get University hostels then get good marks in your entrance exam then only anyone can get a hostel.

Fees is very low for courses for b.com b.a. b.sc the fees is 924 rupees per year and for ba.llb it is 50000 rupees per year. comparing with other cental universities this University charger a very less fees.

No there is such facilty provided by college. university's fees is very less which can be paid by anyone which is only rupees 924 for the first year. So there is no facility of loan is provided for students of Allahabad University but can avail govt.scholarship.

As I am a b.com student i go for classes in commerce department any there is no need for any prqcticql lab so i don't know about the facility of labs and etc. but there is facility of joining NCC and NSS and can also join University sports team in any games.

Yes I opted for hostel but not University hostels there are some trust hostels so I'm in trust hostel University hostels are good in infrastructure and provid good facility of water servants and wifi. But in trust hostel you have to manage all thimgs by yourself and the infrastructure is also not very good of truat hostels.

No. there is no such alumni network in this University that is University of Allahabadmost of students here come for preparation on civil and one day exams like vdo lekhpal etc.so there is less chance to meeet any successful senoir but there are many senoirs who will meet in Allahabad and are still in University or passed from University and preparing for competition.

Firstly I applied online for admission. Then I gave the entrance exam and cleared it. After that took admission in University of Allahabad by verification of my documents i.e. marksheets and other certificates.

My opinion for upcoming students is that you can come to this University in any courses but you have to study by yourself or do coaching. But come here with an opinion or goal to become a civil servant or to crack any exam. Because the University provides you the degree and study material but you have to study by yourself so there is opportunity to prepare for various other courses by doing your graduation.
