- The college has pretty bad classrooms and canteen. The furniture is very old and broken.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course cirriculum is moderately relevant to the course.The syllabus can be better removing the useless subjects and topics which are not related to the course. The exams occurs in every 1month or 2 months.which are moderate in level.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides many internship opportunities for the students which are followed by a good amount of stipend. They provide internship in the 3rd year and 2nd year mostly. Getting maximum stipend of 80000rs to 125000rs and average of 20000rs to 40000rs.They get internship from companies like microsoft etc..
Fees and Financial Aid
1.The yearly fee of all be courses in cbit is 165000 and we have to pay amount of 5000rs as additional fee, (and 8500rs for other core courses). 2.The college fee has increased by 25000rs as compared to the previous year. Also i had recenetly paid 5160rs as exam fee for my semester 1 end exams.3.Fee reimbursement is available in this college for students of EWS section and for OBC, SC , ST students.4.SC and ST students had to pay 5100rs as their college fee(excluding addtional fees) 5.OC- Genenral category students are not providided with any kind of fee reimbursement or consession even after getting a good rank. They have to pay full fee as mentioned.6.There are some seats which the college has reserved for NRI quota students, and they have to pay around 5000dollars for one academic year.7.I did not apply for scholarships, but as per my knowledge the college provides scholarships for students.8.The fee has been increasing as compared to the previous years. 9.The college fee of 165000rs(for one academic year) as mentioned in the above points is for the students who have secured the seat in college through EAMCET( Category A) ie convener quota and through JEE Mains or 12th Boards marks ( Category B) . 10. The fee for students of NRI quota is around 410000rs for one academic year.11. The college also provides transport across the city of Hyderbad and it charges a fee of rs 42000rs for one academic year .12. There are some students who have joined the college by paying a donation fee which varies around 1200000 to 1500000,this fee the student have to pay at once and should be followed up by the yearly fee similar to convener quota students for every academic year.These are known as management seats. 13.The college also has a good canteen, and students have to pay for their meals accordingly as there is no yearly subscription for canteen food.14.College also provides Hostel facility for the students which is at a walkable distance fromthecampusandchargesaround1lakhs-90k
Campus Life
The overall experience in the campus is very good.CBIT conducts many sports fest as AURA, SHRUTHI, etc and some party fest as SHRUTI once a year.The library is well maintained and has all kinds of books available. College encourages students to participate in sports. The club activites in CBIT are excellent and are very helpful for the students
Admission
I have heard alot a good reviews about this college and is also among the top 7 colleges in Hyderabad.I even applied for JNTUH and VNRVJEIT and i chose CBIT over them.I didnt get any rejection but faced difficulty in getting into CBIT because i am a non local candidate.A student must get a good rank in TS EAPCET in order to get into this college or have to get around 96+ percentile in mains to get into CBIT
Faculty
Even though the faculty is good and experienced, however they lack in student relationship. Most of the faculty members are very strict and sometimes they speak rudely to the students.The faculty seems less approachable.The teacher I like the most is Ch. Srilakshmi mam, because of her good interactive teaching and doesnt demotivate the student.There are many faculty members whom I dont like, the main reason for that is their behavious towards the students. Regarding the exam, there are 2 mids ,2 Classtests , internal exams , external lab practicals and marks for submission for records and assignment and also for attendance.
Night Life
There is a gym inside the campus and also one gym in the college Hostel. The hangout places are less in college but are just enough for students to spend a good time. The college timings are 9:10 am to 4:00 pm Canteen and Open air auditorium are the most famous hangout places in the campus. and is absolutely safe there
