Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was very relevent and in terms of subjects we had for our courses it was very relevent and even the faculty that ive just talked about was very good and carried alot of knowledge of the subjects even apart from our subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4

Alot of big MNCs Sprinklr Collegedunia JP morgan Bain etc,. and lot of big MNCs and they hire around 3 4 people each and a good stipend as well, NSIT does not allow companies to take students for internships if they are not provide any stipend.

Placement Experience

4

yes alot of college placement, being one the best engineering college out there in delhi which is surround the 2 two IT hubs in India i.e Noida and Gurgaon, NSIT offers placements to the utmost of it, they offers intership opportunities as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee- 1st year fee- 160,000 ( tuition fee was around 80K and rest i dont remember) 2nd year fee- 180,000 3rd year fee- 190,000 4th year fee- 200,000 Hostel fee- 35,000 per semester Mess fee- 15,000 per semester

Campus Life

4

Moksha happens every year in march , which is our cultural fest and resonace was our tech fest. library is huge the central library is one of the biggest library in delhi. Classrooms and good very classroom has a digital screen. student portal i.e. IMS was good too.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel was good and strict too, cant do anything and there was zero tolrence policy for smoking drinking for doing anything stupid, hostels were divided by the year you are in like separate hostels for every year. Hostel fee- 35000 per semester. Mess fee- 15000 per semester. They can even refund your mess money if you dont eat.

Admission

I chose this college beacuse of the location, and less crowd which i thought would make easy to crack the placements and that happened too , the other college i was looking forward to was DTU and it is still a good competion to NSIT but yeah not anything wrong about DTU but its just about the location and crowd.

Faculty

4

Faculty was great too, and alot of people think that govt. colleges does not teach properly that is absoluty not true, in my case the faculty members were very helpful and supporting and had a good amount of knowledge as well. Our couse was based upon CBCS (credit based choice system), where we have to achive 168 credits in order to get a degree, every major subject had a weightage of 4 credits and the elective subjects carried 2 credits and you can only opt 28 credits max per semester.

Night Life

4

Not much nightlife as people in this college dont like to goo outside, even our hostels were every strict, hostel timings were 9 pm and after that you cant go out and everything closes at 6pm but the library and gym were open till 8pm.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Engineering)

NSUT now NSIT then was offering some good services as it was also under Delhi university which is very recognised worldwide, less people in the college in 2017 and very few courses were offered that made the college environment less cluttred and the locat

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
