Remarks

The only negative remark is that the funding from the government is very less so that students has to raise funds for the activities. The positive thing is that ,the college is situated at one of the most beautiful place in India, Munnar. Where the living condition is very good

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus is CUSAT which is one of the best syllabus in India. The exam pattern during 1st year there will only be an exam at the end of accadamic year and fron 2nd year onwards it will be semester based exam 6 months will be the duration of a semester. For each semester there will be 2 internal exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

The overall placement provided by the college is good almost 90% of students will be placed during their final year itself. By the middle of last semester I was having 3 offer letters in hand.At an average almost 50% of students will be having 2 offer letters.

College Events

5

There are many national level events happening in the college sone of them are Jignaza, Kaizen, Electra, Evensia. Many of the IEEE programs are also conducted in college. There was a TEDx talk also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very much feasible It will be aroung 42000 (without hostel fees) per anum for low fees students, for high fees it will be 72000 per anum. There will not be any tuttion fees in between the accadamic year. It has to be remitted at the starting of accadamic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

For meritorious students there are scholarship provided like merit cum means, e-grant. Although these are govt. scholarships the college staff will help up in all ways possible to help us get those scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

All tye labs are well equipped with the equipments required. There will be anual sports and arts activities. Those who are selected will participate in the university level competition. Other than this there is NSS, IEEE working actively in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The college is having a strong alumini network and they are planning and organising certain activities. There is a seperate alumini fund for those activities. They are also helpful for placement activities.

Admission

The admission is purely based on the state engineering entrance exam conducted by kerala govt. There are two types of seats available merit low fees(35000 per anum) and merit high fees(65000 per anum). The students can select the college and type of seat during the allotment process. The students will be admitted on the basis of rank ie, those with better rank will get the low fees and others high fees. There is a third category NRI seats which will be only 10% of the total no. of seats, those are for students who were not attended the entrance exam.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculties are well experienced and having minimum 5 years of teaching experience. All of them are M-Tech and above, all the HOD's are holding PhD. They are very friendly so that we can approach then at any tine to clarify our doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10.
