What Students Say

The campus provides an ideal environment for academic pursuits and personal growth.
The academic program offered are diverse and well structured.
The campus itself is a blend of natural beauty and well infrastructure.

Dislikes

Canteen is not good. The price is to high.
Instruments in lab are not upto the mark.
Sports facility for day scholars are not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is regularly updated to align with current industry standards, including emerging technologies like AI, Machine learning,Block chain and cloud Emphasizes on hands on learning through labs and projects. Opportunities to explore niche areas such as data science, cyber security and Ai and ML.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees for first year was: 1.4 lakh Second year was : 1.96 lakh Tution fee of second year: 1.63 lakh after scholarship of 78 thousand removal which I got because of my merit. Admission fee:50000 Registration fee:1500 Lab fees:7000 Academic scholarship:Based on merit. Fee concession for female student. And there are other merits also which I don't know properly but my friends have gotten. The fees for per year increases by some amount.

Campus Life

Campus Life at Graphic Era is vibrant and inclusive. The serene location amidst the hills encourages bonding and collaboration,as students spends quality time exploring nature, working on projects and participating in events. Socializing is easy thanks to a variety of events like cultural fests, sports tournament , and technical expos. There are various clubs such as technical clubs, cultural clubs, social servicing clubs(NSS),NCC.

Admission

Because of its reputation for its quality education which I get to know from my relatives. The campus infrastructure is excellent well blended with nature, well equipped computer labs and experience teachers from which my brothers have studied.

Faculty

Some faculties are really good by nature and their knowledge in their according fields.Their way of teaching and approach to doubts were absolutely great. But some teachers were even not able to teach students without study material(Their own hand written notes),they were not able to provide any satisfactory answer to our doubts. But there were also some teachers who give their best if they lack knowledge. The course curriculum was fine and marking scheme is also good for our exams but I have one issue which always occur for me is that our exam time happens when other colleges exams had already been over, because of this I have not been able to apply for any winter or summer internship camp.

Night Life

I am a dayscholar so I have not been able to access to gym and cafeteria but I have been able to gain access to library which Is a very quiet place where I have been able to study very peacefully during my exams. My college is near famous tourist places like Sattal and Bhimtal so there are various places you can explore but not in uniform because there have been many cases where student have bunked college and went to those places and met some accident so it has been banned for student to reach those places near Lake to avoid these cases.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A candid review of my 3 years over graphic Era hill University Bhimtal.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. There is 1500 registration fee to get your seats confirmed for the selected course. Well there is no specific criteria for cut-off....Read More

My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 result, they also see your CUET score and JEE score before the admission. Admission experience was good....Read More
