Course Curriculum Overview

3

Yeah the practicals are good but not all teachers take it seriously, some teachers do it just for job. but most teachers check each and every student if he/she is able to perform the practical. The frequency of exam is okay l, its doable for internals we have 2 papers on single day , but the question paper is provided so its easir to score

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are available in our college , the teachers even teach or prepare students for internships, they run programs where external experts visit college to teach us . getting an internship is easy if you have skills so it all depends on skills

Placement Experience

3

My college struggles with placements , very few company visit the college and the highest package last year was 6LPA from an IT branch . my plan is to prepare for masters and go abroad for further studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 120k for computer branches like computer engineering AI/ML my course is AI/ML the fees is 120k, but i availed scholarships with the help of domecile and income certificate (less than 8 LPA income ) So with this my fees become 67,800 You need to follow and submit all required forms every year to avail this benifit. college is gujarati minority , so the concession to gujarati people is good my friend who is gujarati her fees is 13k With TFWS benifit the fees is 11000

Campus Life

3

The overall campus experience is very good , the crowd is mature and smart . rhe only thing i hate is travelling . if this college was in western line it would be better then vartak college in vasai (my opinion) because the staff and teachers are veryy good

Admission

Yeah so my jee score was not that good , i was getting branches other than computer in many colleges but i wanted to go with CS or AI The college was very straightforward and calm during admission process

Faculty

3

The student to teacher ratio is not good , last year the college was struggling to find teachers. but now it's on point ,the teachers are good they really make sure the students score good in practicals vivas and finals . They desigh the assignments in such a way that the assignments are enough to ace any exam .

Night Life

1

thers is no night life , we have less trains since the college comes in harbour line . most student take 5pm train the next train is at 6:30 which is not convenient at all . so there is no night life , students prefer leaving on time

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.

The placement is quite good, the statistical reason for being good is that it has average 8 LPA which many college can't afford besides this there is also good support and advisory from Placement Cell.
