Remarks

My college is the best. They provide me with the good placements and hostel facilities in a reasonable rate along with awesome faculty and infrastructure. I think its good If I compare it with nearby north zone private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum is same like that of other universities. No matter what type of interest a student carries. He need to study other extra subjects too. Exam structure involves appearing for exams once in a semester. While we have some time to time internal exams also.

Placement Experience

4.5

Plcements and jobs are also good. According to college there are about 400+ companies that visit the campus with more than 3000+ jobs. Our college does not provide any kind of Internship. It solely depends upon the student to get a internship from external sources.

College Events

5

Our college celebrates mainly 3 events. First is Techfest which includes a band and a live singer with lots of fun. Second is Prize Distribution Function in which the talented students are presented with a prize for their work and last one is Sports meet. As the name suggests playing games and sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Only 43,000 Rs. fees for academics for engineering option while 45,000/- rs fees for availaing hostel facility. The fees mentioned is for a semester that is 6 months. It is quite low as compared to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarship to backward class people. Which I think is from Government. Our college also provides scholarship on the first sem fees based on the marks scored in 12th and Jee mains.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college is pretty awesome in terms of Infrastructure. All the labs are equipped with ACs and have well working tools and machines. The latest technology helps us to coup up with the latest trends and modern architecture of the things.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I am availing hostel facilities. Hostel Infrastructure is good, neat and clean. Hostel facilities includes wifi, mess, laundary, saloon, common room, etc. I think rates are reasonable according to the services provided by the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college lack in terms of interation with senior students. Here the student depends only on himself. No guidance from seniors. Well there are some advantages and disadvantages for the same. Focusing on oneself is also good.

Admission

I just visited the campus. Had a nice conversation with branding department. After a successful meeting I submitted my documents like 10th result, 12th result which then enrolled me with the college. I was told to join the classes from 1st Aug.

Faculty

4

Faculy is nice, experienced and educated. They always support their students. Making them aware of new things in the Industry. Regular industry visits are also good for students development. Taking regular tests helps students in maintaining the studies.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
