Course Curriculum Overview

4

Transition period of BAMS was a great motivation to me Frequency of exam is moderate like mcqs based exams every 2 month They are of moderate difficulty like few easy and few difficult questions Most of questions are of moderate difficulty

Internships Opportunities

4

Since I am 1 st year student I didn't have participated in any particular intership But as per ncism every student have to do 1 year internship for BAMS Which includes 6 month in allopathic and 6 months in ayurvedic areas Which is also provided by college

Placement Experience

4

Medical student generally have to complete their intership before getting into campus placements. Campus placement chances are of 80 to 90 percent Some students also prefer take drop for pg in BAMS So I would be doing same

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 1st year is 3.5 lakh alongwith 1lakh mandatory for hostel for 1 st year. Then it becomes 3.25 lakhs for 2,3 and 4 year and then for last year it becomes 2.15 lakhs between you have to pay around 1lakh for hostel so if you want to stay for 5 year in hostel you will have to pay around 20.5 lakh( 15.5lakh for fees and 5 lakh for hostel. Admission in BAMS is through NEET counseling so caution fee is paid to ncism through counseling session. I have given a round off fees .extra charges may exerted but they won't be huge Since counseling is through NEET so fees is same for all.

Campus Life

4

Pinak is annual fest that usually occurs in April And Aghaz is annual fest usually occuring in October or November BAMS students have their own seperate library on 2 nd floor in medical college Extracurricular activities are offered for extra development Projectors and audio visual aids are provided for teaching Well equipped labs for anatomy, physiology and pathology etc are present

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel provides 3 seater and 2 seaters room to everyone with attached bathroom And fees ranges from 90k for 3 seater to 1.05lakh for 2 seaters Water kettle is allowed but rest of things are not allowed. Food at mess is good enough and canteens are also available

Admission

I applied for uttranchal university But decided to join here due to great location This place is somewhat far for hustle - bustle of city making its environment peacful and pollution free Admission here for BAMS is through NEET counseling. Cut-off can range from 500 score to 200 neet score

Faculty

4

Exams are usually based according to Ncism new patern So 9 personal assiments 2 internal exam and 1 final exam All faculties were good and vibrant when it comes to teach. Innovative methods and constant participation in cultural activities is treasured here

Night Life

4

Gym at back side of mess is present with seperate hours for girls and boys Food is good and provide with variety throughout year. Enough holiday are provided to explore the area Outings is allowed till 5 in winter and till 6 in summer a

Course Curriculum Overview:

Majority of subjects are really helpful with their clinical applications in either diagnosing or treating the patients but some other subjects like Sanskrit grammar, padartha vigyan and others are just irrelevant and pose no significant use, the exams get difficult with each passing years as you have to study around 5 subjects per year and each subject has 2 papers and you have to pass in both of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I chose this course because of its rising demand and also because I have a keen interest in learning about Ayurveda, its remedies, and its treatment. In teaching the faculty is good overall. But in some departments, the faculty members are very few. The faculty member is well qualified. They all are mds from different regions of India. Many of them are from BHU too. The term exams are conducted in every 6 months(total 3 times) as the 1st prof. is of one and a half years now. And the periodic test is conducted 3 times in every 6 months(Total 9 times) and the Last Final exam is conducted at the end of the prof.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because Ayurveda is a very wide field it is not a science it is like a Veda that we are reading so it has a huge scope in the coming era after Covid time. Students are to faculty ratio is completely fulfilled as per the norms of the NCISM committee Each and Every Single faculty had completed their MD ( maters ). As it's a professional course so the exam is according to the university and quite difficult to pass.
