Likes

College environment and the campus not big so much but it is ok to make you to feel like college
Infrastructure is good with many facilites and also you will have interaction with different culture
faculty are good with all aspects and the teaching style is also good with other system

Dislikes

staff and others system of college regulation with other things
Ground for sports can be improved and every game have their own place to play
travelling is an issue which can afffect the students

Course Curriculum Overview

If you want to choose this course CSE than you should known about programing language and also you should known about the the things about a cp and others which will help you to get through it . it will help you and also faculty will help you to work on your project to make a real world application and also you should work on the codes and other things from real world .

Google will offer as virtual assistance , interns and developers and etc with min stipen of 20000 month and also many compay visits the college and you can find it on website or in college through any one .

Placement Experience

7th sem students arwe able to sit in placemnts . many companises visit like google , mahindra , yahoo , and etc and they also offer a good packages to student . highest package of core cse id 44 lpa and average is 8lpa . about 80% of students are get placed and rest of them get their own choice . i want to get in software department.

Campus Life

Aminova and Technicia is the fest of college . their are wide variety of books and also you can find your book as need of you . in classroom you will get projector and AC facilities and also and a white marker and everything . Their are many sports in college you will get to known about it and also their are leagues for all the year to play . their are 12 clubs with diffwerent variety like photography , environment , music , dance and etc.

Admission

i applied for many colleges but because of some familt issue and also this college is near to me and i am able to go through out as a day scholars . i got some rejections alspo because of my marks but i get t know that i am not good with those study styles . in my college if you want to take addmision then go on site and apply for it after tha get offer letter pay fees and get admissiuon in college and after wards get everything.

Faculty

Faculty to syudent ratio is 15:1 I am not feeling good to write about name but i can tell you about the departments like physics in cse and chemistry can make you to feel worst and also you can feel to leave the seesion . In one semester there is 1 midsem and 1 final exam also there are practical and viva and you will also have lab exams and class test and quiz and so many assignement .

Night Life

Gym is not good so you can find it out of college and library is full of books and everything is their there are many place to relax and chill. as i am a day scholars so i dont known about it . Inside like cafeteria , auditorium , playground and outside tunnel , bunker , forest etc.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Likes

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

COVID-19 changed everything, including the college admissions scenario. So, I was in a bit of a mess. I did not study well for exams like JEE, and my 11th and 12th foundational concepts in maths n physics were not so good. MHT-CET was a big gamble, which did not go according to plan. But I had to get into a college, and I wanted one in Mumbai. Amity University Mumbai seemed to be a right choice. It offered direct admissions, which was of great relief for a student like me. It was located at Mumbai, and the structures and facilities were good enough. The Amity experience: Highlights and Insights

I had applied to manipal university, nmims university and amity University. And I honestly I loved the subjects and the curriculum the best here in amity. Moreover, the course that I was interested in had just started in manipal and nmims university hence I wasn't sure about how the course would turn out and amity on the other hand had this course for over 5-6 years which gave me the confidence in the effectiveness of the course. I got accepted to manipal and because of some technical glitch during my entrance for nmims, I got rejected from there. Studying- A fun adventure at Amity University, Mumbai

Eligibility: 60% and above in 12th boards. Students who have completed their 12th irrespective of any stream can apply. All the details of the application form, fees, and dates can be found on their website- Not sure about the reservation benefits but after you apply, you would be assigned to an admission counselor who guides you throughout the admission process and clears all doubts. Regarding the application process, there is an entrance exam that wasn't related to the course, it included essay writing on any general knowledge topics. After which there was an interview where they ask basic questions related to the course such as, why did you opt for this course? Who is the father of psychology.
