Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of the course is verry nice and decent it covers all the necessary information that we require to understand the subject It really prepares us well for the real world applications for further academic pursuits But if you ask me there is a lot more improvement needed in the curriculum And for exams timing is of 3 hours for the end sem and it is sufficient time to write the paper if you have studied well ...the paper is not that much difficult you can write it easily if you know the answer

Internships Opportunities

4

Amazon, Reliance Jio, Angel Broking, Tech Mahindra, Suzlon, HDFC Bank, DHL, IIFL, AXIS Bank, and NDTV India. Are some of the companies that offers internship and the basic stipend is around 10-12k There are two projects given minor and minor project in the last year and the outcome of this projects is better placement opportunities and better package offered

Placement Experience

4

Students as soon as they reach in the last year they are eligible for campus placement The companies that visited Amity University Mumbai are Amazon, HP, Naukri.com, LandT infotech, ITC , Dayal legal Associates,JCB and IBM and many more multinational corporations visits Amity University Mumbai The highest package offered is 33 LPA in some of the Japanese company 100% placement percentage My plans is to become a full stack developer in multinational company and then startup a company after completing my M.tech

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total fees of Amity University Mumbai is around 13,00,000 approx. 1st year fees was around 2,00,000 due to scholarship I got.. scholarship was based on 12th marksheet, if you have above 75% then your scholarship will be 25% , above 85% then 50% and above 90% then 100% scholarship Registration fees was 15,000 for the batch 2022, it can vary now And no other charges will be taken everything will be included in your fees And there's no SC/ST/or any other caste system... evrything is based on your 12th merit

Campus Life

5

There are two main events that happens in Amity University Mumbai i.e Technicia which is a festival of engineering department at University level and second is Aminova that is also a fest at University level and these two occurs in the month of February and March respectively The classrooms are hi-tech with fully functional AC And sports are taken seriously in the university It is named as "SANGATHAN" And there are various clubs for the student welfare example ami-cult for singers dancers ami-fashion and many more and the impact on student life is that we get to know more and more people in the campus that helps in future building

Admission

I've attempted the exam of jee for two years but I didn't made it through the exam And Amity is a deemed to be university so it doesn't require any jee marksheet and all so Amity Mumbai was the last option left for me to take admission because I really wanted admission in any college Admission process of Amity University Mumbai is simple , the eligibility criteria is minimum score of 50% in 12th

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is not so good in the campus for engineering department but the faculties which are present in the university are verry good and cooperative with the students... Faculties are more helpful and kind towards the students they take care of each and every student There are total two exams per semester 1. Mid sem (30 marks) 2. End sem (70 marks) And the exam is not that difficult if you study properly because all the questions comes from the study material provided and the lectures which are held in classrooms A lot of students fail to clear the exams in the first year but then the number decreases gradually

Night Life

4

Night life of Amity University is good in all aspects there is one gym but it opens only during the daytime Two big libraries and one in making We are allowed in campus till 9 pm after that we are not in campus to roam Hostel timings are the same for hostellers Famous hangout spot in the sunset point because it is faced on the west so we get a chance to see sunset everyday The locality is safe to roam at night if you're not scared of dogs

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
