Course Curriculum Overview

4

My curriculum was both electrical and computer so it had so much scope in future. My course was a little bit tough as we had to deal both the subjects the subjects the electrical and electronics students were learning within 2 semesters were completed in one month in our course as it was there in the syllabus. The work load is quite a little bit hectic during the end sems as there will be group projects and assignments.we will gain a lot of subject knowledge from both electrical and computer sides

Internships Opportunities

4

The interships are given after 5th sem. Either they will give us the internship or we can choose . Students need to equip with skills before going to any internship. There are research opportunities also in this college and the facultyies will help us to for the research pusrposes

Placement Experience

4

the students become eligible for campus placements after sem 5. Many multinational companies visits our college and mass recruiters also visit our college.the highest package in the last year was 52 lpa from microsoft and the average package is 6 lpa. top recruiters include infosys , wipro, tcs, amazon, delloite, honeywell, oracle. More than 90% get placed in our campus. My are to stay for placements after getting degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The non scholarship fees is 300000 per year But there are scholarship categories as slab 1 slab 2 and slab 3 For me I was in slab 3 and the fees was 250000 for tution fees , caution deposit was 10000 The fees for first scholarship lab was 100000 The fees for second fees slab was 175000 The fees slab for 3 slab is 250000

Campus Life

3

The annual tech event of our college is vidyut but for the past 2 years it hast been conducted. So i dont know when the event happens .Many technical events happen in our college. These are the events conducted by different clubs. The library is filled with books and we also have digital library access also. The classrooms are smart classes with projecters and good light conditions.Different sports teams are there in our college but they are not as strong as the teams of other colleges . There are student run clubs like amfoss and bios. amfoss is the 2 nd top student led club in india. They participate in most of the competitions around the world. The club members work till late night doing some tasks. These clubs will be good to someone if they know to manage time very well

Hostel Facilities

1

The hostel buildings are old but its maintained. The toilets are not maintained well as toilets have to be cleaned by students itself. The mean quality is so worse .Since they make food for many people the mean quality is so much bad. The hostel is situated near to college. There are small small shops near the hostel but there is no medical shop near to the college. The hostel and mess food is not up to the mark .The fees is quite high and the services are bad. Rgistraion process is simple. The morning breakfast menu is always same and dinners are so bad.The lunch is not that bad but there is only vegetarian option in the food. The PG near to our college is good and so much better than our hostel but it gives more facilities in the same price of our hostel. IF ANYONE IS PLANING TO JOIN PG ,ESPECIALLY FOR GIRLS, THEY NEED TO JOIN FROM THE FIRST YEAR ITSELF, OR ELSE IT WILL BE SO HARD TO CHANGE TO PG AFTER JOINING THE HOSTEL

Admission

i was planning to join for a national level institute.I didnt wanted to join college under kerala technological university.i prepared one year for jee mains but my results were not good.At the same time i applied for other colleges like vit and amrita.i got selected for vit but the fees was high .But amrita was the last and best choice for me.The admission process were not that tough. We had a entrance exam to join amrita .there were three ways to join amrita.either jee or aeee ( amrita entrance examination -aeee ) or by non scholarship category.if any person who didnt get a computer science field in national institute even if they had a 95+ percentile , then they can apply for amrita as they will get selected quickly

Faculty

5

We had one faculty for each subject and the faculties are good .They are friendly and cooperative . The evaluation pattern is 60-40 and for 60 for internals and 40 for end sem exams. The internals consist of mid term assignment and class test .Mid term is on 50 marks and it is coverted out of 30.The other 30 marks consist of assignments and class test .There will be 2 class test and 2 assignment each consisting of 7.5 marks. The exams are little bit tough but solving previous year questions will help us .The curriculum is modified every 4 years so the curriculums are upto date

Night Life

1

gyms are opened at morning 6 -8 am in the morning and 5.30-7.30 at the evening.library is open till 8 pm.for girls hostel timings are 5.30 pm which is so early,For boys its at 8.45 pm.The place is a remote area and its not a town area and for boys till now there has been not a problem at night.Famous hangout place include the park and canteen inside the college and there is a famous beach close to our college which is also a hangout place

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
