Course Curriculum Overview

4

Specifie time table of each subject and doubt clearing sessions . Curriculum prepares you for real world applications or further academic pursuits is not so relevant I can say . CBME has removed most of the topics that are important in general. The frequency is around every 3 months. Timing varies 10 to 1 or 2 to 5 Difficultly level is moderate I can say.

Internships Opportunities

3

Im currently a 3rd year medical student. I don't have much idea about internships and stipend. But yea there is stipend as I heard my seniors talk about . The stipend is around 15000 per month I think . There are many opportunities such as national and international conferences.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year the fees for government quota students is around 1.5 lakh for payment seat it's 22.5lakh approx and for NRI QUOTA its around 42 lakh per year . Mbbs is around 4 .5 year so multiply the fees into 4.5 There are around a few scholarships sc and st students can apply . Fees doesn't support records and log books charges .

Campus Life

4

The annual functions and other festivals are generally less celebrated here as more prefence is given to students . Yes we do have one or two main fests around November. There are wide access and range of books and references and journals in library from morning 9 to night 9 . Technology is good over all . Sports such as basketball football and cricket team and separate play ground is maintained. Yes there are many groups such as cultural , fashion, literature , environment,Anti ragging ,music etc .

Hostel Facilities

3

Room facilities include one cot and 2 cupboards along with attached bathroom with geyser . Drinking RO water. Meal is not that good . Many options are available both veg and non veg. The fees is around 60000 without food . Mathikere .

Admission

I have come from private quota . I had other options too I choose ramaiah medical College because of the name in excellence it has . The teaching faculty and well developed labs . Each student gets a separate microscope to study the slides. Eligibility is through neet . Eligibility is separate for sc st ,obc and general category. One can come through all india quota or kcet neet .

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is around 8 to 10 . Each department has separate mentoring session with the Student assigned. If the student doesn'tike one teacher she or he can change the teacher if needed. There are 3 internals with 3 months gap and one month of University examination. Around 10 people fail in each subject . Difficultly level is moderate.

Night Life

4

There are well many well named gyms such as cult fit by hrx. Many cafes like rameshwaram cafe McDonald's Domino's Nandana palace Big bites Wendy Leons Truffles Subway Baskin Robbins Naturals Polar bear Corner house Xero degrees Banglore adda Ching lung reatobars and many other north indian restaurants . Hostel timings are from morning 6 to night 10 Famous hangout places include Mantri square Mall Iskon temple Orion mall Lulu mall etc . Locality is safe as there are many security guards in most of the places along with policeman from sadashiv nagar police station roaming around the campus during night hours .

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.
