Course Curriculum Overview

5

Career and Personality Development classes, faculties, management learnings, business learnings, interest in accounts, job opportunities and extra curriculum activies influenced me to choose this course. Ofcourse curriculum helps you for your better future as it provides practical knowledge and opens the door to explore many things which you can get in books or theory. The semester exams has been taken in every 6 months.

Internships Opportunities

5

I did my internship in NTPC Limited. The topic of my internship was GST. My stipend was 7,500 per month. Project was to work on GST, get everything single detail with deep research on GST. The outcome of the project was I got to learn about GST, it's process, it's implications and it's impact.

Placement Experience

4

From third semester students become eligible for campus placements. Amazon, ICICI, HDFC, HCL, Deloitte, Paranjape, Dmart and many more. During my batch the highest package of 12 Lacs PA offered by Amazon and average package was about 4 LPA. I think more than 75% of the students got placed. I was not a placement guy. I had my own plans to come back home and join my family business.

Fees and Financial Aid

During MBA, the fee was 125000 per Semester including tution fees, caution fees, lab fees, registration fees, development fees etc. Yes, ofcourse college provide opportunities to get scholarships and also you get discount in total fee if you have good score card of entrance exam.

Campus Life

5

Talentine was our main yearly program organised by the college and I was part of the Arts Committee. Library was amazing, you don't need to look anywhere else. You will everything there. Also every students gets Financial Express newspaper every day. Yes sports was there. We had clicked, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton etc. CSR activities played very important role in every students life.

Admission

I had applied to multiple colleges and got selected. Some of them are SRM University, Indus College of Bangalore, Jaipuria College in Noida, Amity University, IIMS Ghaziabad etc. The reason to choose IIMP Pune is, this college runs under University of Pune which is one of the best in management courses, secondly the fee structure and third reason is CLDP course organised by college. I didn't get rejected from any colleges I applied. I had given MAT and through MAT score card I was eligible to get admission.

Faculty

5

In our batch there were four sections of named A, B, C and D. Each section had 60 students. So, there were no problem regarding student to faculty ratio. Our marketing faculty was amazing. There was a male faculty and a female faculty. Pallavi Ma'am was awesome. Apart from this finance faculty was also very nice. There were no faculty to dislike, everybody was great. There were four semester exams mainly, apart from this we had test series, internals etc. I guess more than 90% of the students clear the exams.

Interview Experience

5

I don't exactly remember GD topics but it was something related to politics. During interview I was asked why did I choose MBA, about my personality, future plans, goals, backgrounds etc. Process is simple, appear for the MAT entrance exam, shortlist your colleges, apply and move forward towards GD and interview. Be natural, be confident and trust yourself you will clear all the rounds.

Night Life

5

Everything is open from Monday to Saturday. You will get access to college canteen on Sunday also. Hostel closing timings of the college was 8 PM and college timings were 8 AM to 4 PM everyday excepts Saturday. Inside the college canteen is the best place to hangout. And about outside college, this is Pune. You will get everything everywhere.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
