Remarks

Being a newly established university, CUJ is high performing university. The only negative point with the university is its temporary campus. The university is expected to be shifted to its 300 acres permanent campus by the end of 2020.

Course Curriculum Overview

Integrated course consists of 10 semesters while the master's course is of 4 semesters. The course curriculum is designed with keeping in eye every competitive examination the students are going to appear after graduation or post graduation courses. There are 3 internals and 1 end semester exam in every semester.

Placement Experience

As the university is established in 2009 the placement opportunities in the university are not very nice, but the university provides good amount of internship opportunities. The University is expected to provide very good placement in upcoming year.

College Events

The university conducts n number of events through out the academic year. Khelotsav the sport fest is celebrated every year in the month of Feb. The Navadhar is the techno-management fest which is celebrated in the month of November. Every department celebrates some of there own fests through out the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the university is very feasible. The semester fees range from 6000 to 9000 depending on the department the student is enrolled. 200 per month is the room rent for hostel students and the mess fees is as low as 2300 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university provides free ship to economically backward students, the freeship includes exemptions from hostel and mess fee and upto 80% waiver in tuition fees. Expect this students of university avail variety of state government and central government funded scholarships.

Campus Life

The university has a nice infrastructure for sports. The laboratories are well equipped and very functional. Extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC are over here in our university. Being in a green campus plantation are done on a regular basis.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior students always remain in contact with the university. Alumni meet occurs every year which is very helpful for the current students to create industrial and research oriented contacts.

Admission

The university intakes new admission through CUCET entrance examination every year. The university generates a overall rank by considering the board marks and CUCET score. During 2015, with an above average score and 74.8% in my boards I got selected in the 2nd Day counseling.

Faculty

The faculty of the university are of world class caliber. Almost every faculty in the department are Aluminu of high end universities and have a vast research experience. The Ad hoc faculties are also high qualified. Every department has more than 10 faculties with some ad hoc faculties.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

Likes

Regular classes and on time syllabus completion before exams. Our class girls to boys ratio was 10:3
Interactive and friendly teachers who are always there for the students.
Neat and clean Campus and college does organise many other academic and cultural activities like seminar, festivals events, yearly college fest, to keep the students well engaged and active and does not provide with a boring college experience.

Dislikes

The 75% attendance criteria. where a student is must to get 75% in all there subjects otherwise they are barred from writing the semester end exams.
The college has very strict timings like schools or millitary if you are you will be held outside the gate and won't be allowed to attend the classes.

Placement Experience:

Our college does offer campus placements from 4th semester onwards. The companies visiting our college our mostly industry based hiring for the position of assistant and trainee for short term then after that fixed placement in that company after completing the given role. Companies such as Jindal stell, Glenmark, Tata Chemicals, Sun Pharma, etc. they do provide there on test and if we pass the test then they do a walk in interview. if we pass the interview then we were offered a role of assistant or trainee under the annual package ranging from 3 - 4.5L P.A.

These are my perception and I am not saying that it's fact

Likes

The campus is quite large and there is no problem of parking
The classroom 's have good and proper ventilation.
The availability of canteen and cyber cafe is also the plus point

Dislikes

The washroom is not in proper conditon . It's unhygienic
The campus is large but there should be some flowers plants and more things to make it look enchanting but there is no such things
Anyone can enter the campus for dropping there child it should be restricted

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is nothing specific about choosing it , it's just my interest on that particular subject for which I am there .we get proper notes and tips for our exams and also some life lesson . There is only thing which I find irritating and that's the gap between the exams like seriously how can expect from us to prepare 4 subject in just 2 to 3 months

Satisfied from where I am

Likes

Faculty is very nice , class room are so big land library has a broad area and lots of shelf
Teachers and especially HOD is too cooperative
Practical classes are conducting in regular basis

Dislikes

Classrooms and offices should need camera
Ragging should be prohibited in department
Waiting area fir guest should be organise

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I type this, I am too excited to share with you that when I heard about this course in this college, I was not more excited or interested, but when was fully my parents takes my admission I was really so confused within one week. I really really happy and glad to have such a great teacher and department. When it comes to the timing of exams, along with perspective on their difficulty level, I told you that you can't even thought that how smoothly exam will over.

It is nice from my view.

Likes

The fee structure i liked the most about the collge which is affordable by everyone. Also scholarship for students is available.
The college organizes the workshops on latest trends from different organizations. Also connect with non profitable oranizations who will provide training stuents on latest technologies at free of cost.
The facilities are good, They have M.Tech degrees. Also they are very supportive.

Dislikes

I don't like the outdoor campus of the college, It is a very small area. Also the college don't have the closed campus from all sides.
The college infrastructure is also not that much good. Some departments (like CND, Home science ) classes are taken in old buildings which are not in a good conditions.
Most disliked thing is that college don't have the online admission or re-admission facitility. It is happens in offline mode only. You have to stand on a queqe to submit the admission or re-admission fee.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from 3rd semester. When i'm there only local companies of the city are came for the placement in our college campus. But if other MNC'S are coming for placements in other colleges of the city then we were informed by the placement cell and teachers. Only 20-30% students got placed at our time. My plans after getting a degree is secure a entry level position in an organization. For that i'm also looking for the off campus placements. Right now many companies hiring off campus more than on campus. So, there are more chances to secure your dream job.

Our college and journey

Placement Experience:

From last semester students because eligible for campus placement selection, there are many companies like to visit our college such as Wipro, Tata, TCS, Prabhat khabar, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, etv news, reliance, big bazaar and many more renowned companies. Usually companies offer a contract of minimum 5 to 7 lacs per annum for starting year. 50% students get placement here, because as I told you that there first year package is poor and the companies want us to sign a contract that we will never leave the company for at least 3 years which is not good in my opinion because everyone wants to explore different possibilities. I'm one of those 50% who didn't got the job, after getting the job my plan is simple I'll try to prepare for government job for 5 years if not succeed I'll do my family business.

They offer great exposure in the field of research. it will be useful for you. Referring books is a must for this course. Reading about new discoveries in the field of DNA technology will give us an idea of it.

Since no company come to our campus so placements is not at all average also.No highest salary. No average salary offered. But nowadays off campus drive is organised for all colleges and we go there for job.

Great Faculty, Campus with enhanced class rooms

Remarks:

Good college. Keep in mind that not every degree can be completed in four years. Some STEM fields, for example, might have industry or internship experiences that require an extra year for students to complete, and other colleges have a large number of working students who may need extra time to balance academics with jobs.

Remarks:

Positive is that it has more than 980 acre campus full of lush green trees which make stay comfortable in the campus. Negative is that College is located away from the city that's why student are not allowed in night to go outside.

The reason behind choosing this college is I found very well behaved faculties and well organised lab system. I rejected many colleges due toh these reasons only. I have applied for Central University of Karnataka, Shrimata Vaishnodevi University, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, but I found very good atmosphere in Central University of Jharkhand. A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Admission process was too easy in this college actually. Previously you have to take the exam of CET but now the college except the marks of NTA driven JEE exam. If you have marked 92 to 95 percentile in j exam then you will certainly get electrical or or metallurgical department in the university but for CSE department you have to mark for 94 to 97%.
