Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is designed according to the needs of the students. Basically, the course is about becoming a teacher and the course includes all the importance subjects that is needed by a teacher. The course have pedagogy subjects. Also a bit of psychology is also included. Then vocational trips are very helpful for vocational trips. Teachers take us to different places with different education systems. They even take you to different city to explore the culture of that city and then based on the vocational trip, there is an assessment and also various seminars are being conducted throughout the year. International seminars are also include included, giving students good opportunities to learn, explore and enhance their knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is being provided by the college. They send you to the different school so that you can develop your skills. Mostly the school that is near to the college. They sent you there. It's unpaid internship most of the time, but if you want to get unpaid internship, you can get a recommendation letter from your HOD, and you can even get a paid internship. That is also available. Only if your grades are good that can happen.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of college is also very good. They provide hundred percent placement. Different types of schools come to the college for placement placement is also very simple. Three rounds are there for your college placement. First will be an aptitude test then there will be a demo, and then finally an interview around. You have to clear all the 3 to get Your desired school and there will be many schools that will come to the college to hire you. University own umerous school which will also participate in placement and the salaries that they will give is also good . So again placement is also very good in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

48000 per year 5000 registration fees 3.5k-4.5k exam fees (may vary according to your subject) 5k-7k (fees for vocational trip, every even semester i.e once a year) Scholarship will be provided to the student who will have the highest marks in the class.

Campus Life

5

The social life in college is very good. There are two different cafeteria and also there are different tiny stalls where you have ample amount of food they have various cuisine including North Indian and South Indian cuisine. There are various clubs in the college including the dance club, the drama club, the anchoring club. There are different types of clubs that you get and get involved in. There is also nature club eco club and there are various festivals that happens in the college every year. Also, various festivals are being celebrated with great joy in the college like Pongal, Holi, Diwali. the light of the entire college during festivals. It's a very good place and infrastructure is very nice. Library is the Best part of the college Library is so good. You can go to the library whenever you want, and there are so many books to read from, It also have a digital library where you can access to things online. If you don't own a laptop, you can directly go to the digital library, and you can do your work there.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facility is not that good hostels are basic and fee is extremely high rather than opting for hostel. You can opt for a flat or even the hostel that is outside the campus, but the hostel that is inside the campus is not that good it's not that well. Maintained security is very high though, but it's not that well. Maintained infrastructure is not that good. Even the food is the worst, especially for the north Indians of the people. Those are not from South India. The food will be very bad. They only give you Pongal and bread that that is not toasted as your breakfast. Also during Sunday, you will get Biriyani and there are some good food in the menu, but overall the food is not good, so so it's not a good idea to stay in hostel rather than go for a flat

Admission

It's very easy to get admission in this college as the admission procedure is very simple. You can directly go to the head office, and you can contact the people sitting in the reception. They'll guide you and throughout the admission. Also, it's near to the airport, which should make a travel entry for the students who are coming from the other states. Also it is situated in a very good place. The college is situated in Pallavaram, which has various like basically everything is present there beat food beat hostels. it's a good place. The location of the college is very good making it very accessible other than the location. The faculties are very nice. The admission procedure is very easy and the infrastructure of the college is also very good. It has enhanced technology. The lab has very good infrastructure and library is also very huge, making it one of the best choice.

Faculty

4

The faculty is great. They are very helpful. Exams are being conducted every month. 70 marks semester exam is being conducted after the end of semester and the 30 marks internal exams are being conducted every month, then the best-of-three taken and the internal marks being provided to the students, other than exams various assignments are also given to the student so that internal marks can be awarded to them. During the fourth semester internship programme will be conducted in which students need to go to different schools for teaching, and the marks will be provided to the students that will be given by the teachers in those respective school. Once they are back to the college. Those slip will be assessed by the faculty, and the marks will be provided to them. so basically for every semester, there is 70 marks for the semester exams, and 30 marks for the internal exams

Night Life

4

Night. Life is very is very simple. If you live in the hostel, then you can stay in the campus and you can roam around the campus till 9 o'clock. After that nobody is allowed out of the hostel and the students. Those are not living in the hostel are not allowed inside the college after the leaving hour that is around five 530 so after that, no No one is allowed inside the campus around the college. The places is great. There are so many restaurants where you can go and dine in. They are not that expensive. It's very cheap. It also has a park where you can go and chill around the campus, not inside the campus. It's outside the campus. It's a great place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to B.Ed because I have a major interest in teaching and I did it in Social Studies. The faculty in the college is amazing and supportive guiding students in every situation. Although I did distance learning I still managed to make bonds with my faculties and they helped me out whenever I needed them. There is a total of 45 students in one class. All of them are connected through WhatsApp groups mainly. Exams are held semester wise and each semester was for six months. Students were informed about the examinations through calls from the Professors. Exams were of moderate level and easier to gain good score.
