Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum covers essential engineering topics, giving students a good start in their field. It offers some specialized courses in areas like AI and Data Science, which are important today. Some parts of the curriculum are old and don’t include the latest technology or practical skills. There is more focus on theory than on practical learning, which can make it harder to apply knowledge in real-world jobs The basics taught in the course can help if you plan to study more in the future. The curriculum doesn’t fully prepare for job market demands, with less focus on practical skills and industry experience. Need to Add new topics on modern technologies and industry trends.Include more labs, projects, and internships to help students get real-world experience.need to Use more interactive and project-based learning instead of just lectures. Exams happen regularly, with midterms and finals, along with some internal tests and they are spread throughout the semester but can feel crammed near the end.so , the exams are usually moderate, focusing on memorization rather than practical skills The exams could be more useful if they tested problem-solving skills and understanding, rather than just memory. More project-based assessments could help students apply what they learn.

Placement Experience

From 7th sem students eligible to placement. In which there are some company visits college which name as Deloitte, aurionpro, Sankey Solution, Fintellix but from 2 to 10 person will get placement. I didn't decided any plans.

Yearly fees for open students of terna engineering college of AI&Ds branch is 1,20,000 rs approx and sc category students fees are approx 26000 rs at first year and from 2nd year onwards it will be 11,000 approx and obc student fees approx 70-80 thousand approx in which tution fees is 106196 rs and development fees is 13804 rs and exam fee 2034 rs and maintenance fees are 700 rs and total maintainince allow are 5600 so total fees are 127634 rs there are other schemes like tution fees waiver scheme and sc scholarship for who has family income less than 8 lakh annually from sc are applicable for sc scholarship and who has more than 8 lakh annually income from sc known as sc Freeship those fee structure is for 2022-2026 batch and each year fees cost is more than last year

Campus Life

2

There are many committes like review, avalon, antarang in jan, feb there are program like traditional day, gang day, bollywood day and freshers party for 1st year student . We didn't use any books from library so we just know that first year books are available like md dayal which is reference book of subjects of first year in classroom we have just one projector for lecture and 3-4 fans and 4-5 lights according to class size. There are sports also in college like volleyball for girls and boys, cricket for girls and boys, kabbadi and also sitting games like chess, carrom competition

Admission

I applied for this college bcoz I want ai&ds branch and this branch is available in this college. And i checked all colleges nearby me so in thane there were no colleges were look good or has that much facilities shown in google and in central line there are some colleges but they has minority like Muslim, gujrati, christian and all in western line it will be far too regular travelling bcoz of family concern they not ready for hostel so I have to go for new mumbai colleges bcoz my relatives also live there so they concern me to check thane or new mumbai side college so in new mumbai that time I see only that college has those branch and my percentile of cet that time was 85 percentile something so in first list i got selected for sc ladies seat in those branch there are only 1 seat for ladies in those category so I got this so I thought it would be ok so I freeze those seat and get a admission by admission process in college so basically i didn't get rejected by any college. But that time while admission there are restrictions that only online payment will accepted so that time my family wasn't use online payment we was prefering cash so we have to request relatives to pay via online and then we give them cash so that part was terrifying And there are so many processes while admission 1st time.and not that all process in one floor another floors with another classrooms that was headache part bcoz we are with our parents that time . But now it's ok

Faculty

Like in first year there are so much good faculty bcoz in engineering at first year there are general subjects to all branch so first' year was very good. From 2nd year onwards we fear little bit at start we struggle to interact with faculty but afterwards we enjoyed it and those teachers help us and we make a bond as like as best teacher students there are some teachers whose teaching skills were good some faculty improve there teaching skill when we compliant that we didn't getting whatever they teaching after they also teach very nicely so at a time of semester exam we didn't get that much stress to study there were so many teachers like Sandeep sir, sneha mam, ankita mam, vishal sir, renuka mam they teach us very nicely and helped us but some Times it's not that we are supposed to be but that was memorable days bcoz now all that faculties leave our college . we don't about that much and now we are waiting for new faculties don't know that new faculties will match us or not let's see

Night Life

2

Cafeteria is not that much good bcoz not that much food available in canteen but it's ok. Gym means we use to called it game room there are only chess board which is 2 and carroom which is 3-4 Boards , library means reading room is good bcoz it maintains silence. Clg was approx close for girls at something 7 pm no girl student Allow at ground if any mandatory work then she need to be in library or in reception. We don't use to go outside for hangout so I don't know about that much

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

AISSMS College of Engineering - [AISSMSCOE], Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (VLSI Design & Technology)

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
