Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is cybersecurity and I'm quite interested in computer science things. They oftenly take hackathons on regular time periods which is quite good and interesting. The curriculum tells us all the real world situations. I think they can have more open clases in the matter do curriculum activities such as more exclusive things. The exam level is actually not that difficult they gives 3 hours for exam. So I think it's an appropriate time period.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internships are given by many companies like Microsoft, tata etc. The roles are under the companies are managing director, employees, worker, etc. the projects are like making websites for them or to clean the bugs in their websites and the outcomes are in money form they pay us.

Placement Experience

4

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies like tata, Microsoft, Infosys etc comes to our college for placements. The highest package is 53.4lpa yet so far and the lowest is around 3lpa. The percentage of students getting placements are from 60-95%. My plans after getting degree are to start my own business in media and management.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees I pay is 161400?. The tuition fees is 133000?/yr. The registration fees was 10,000? for seat reservation. They took 10,000? for seat reservation. There were no extra fees for lab it was included in the tuition fees. They also take transport fees which is 28,450? per year. I'm general so I don't know about other caste but yes there is some compensation for other sc/St caste. Other batchmates also have the same fees.other caste has other fees structure. There's a scholarship program called josh in which we all can give just by paying 500? it has full scholarship available as per the percentage we get. I got 50% in my turn.

Campus Life

5

There are Lots of annual and technical festivals. like teej in August, Holi in March, diwali in October, christmas in December and so on. The accessibility of books and journals are so easy in the library and the range is so vide. There are quite good facilities in technological provisions like projectors and cameras in the classroom. There is a good overview in sports like there are alot of options available and quipments for sports like football, cricket, badminton etc. there are alot of social groups in college run by students like coding club and Day scholars work.

Admission

I applied to PEC and PU. I didn't get any confirmation from both of them. I chose this college over others cause this was the only college available for me and which was also near. I get the rejection from other colleges because of my low marks in 12th standard as it was just 64.8% which wasn't enough for getting admission in the same course. In our college we just have to go and give 10k ? for seat reservation and there are no other exams for getting admission. No such eligibility are for admission after reservation of the seats we will just pay the course fee and we're admitted.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is so good. Faculty is actually so good there and it's supportive. Faculty is easily approachable. Roshini ma'am and shubham sir are the best Faculty I've found there. They are the best faculty I've seen because they helped me everytime I approached them. I don't like the vikas sir cause once I went to him for a sign and he said it's not important go back rudely, which later caused me problem cause those signs were really important. There are total 4 exams, two are MST-1 & MST-2 and a special MST after that there is a main final exam. The exam are quite easy to be honest and it's good. Students do fail in exams as they don't study or don't write anything on paper. The course curriculum is quite relevant as it includes soft skills and also maths and other necessary things.

Night Life

4

The nightlife in college is so good and positive. My fav spot in my college is Applebee's. We play board games at night and do alot of things. We just roam or walk in the garden. Gym are quite small in boys hostel. Cafeterias are actually soo good in the campus nice vibes. Library is so big and awesome and also available in every building in the campus. Public area closes at around 11pm in the campus. The hostel timings are 8am to 8 pm. The famous hangout place inside the college is Nescafe outlet and outside there's a foodfarm lawn we go there and do fun. The locality safe to roam around at night is Applebee's.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
