I choose Bsc. computer science as it is a growing and a leading feild in the IT structure everything they teach us is applicable in real world they teach new programming languages which are trending and other add on courses such as A.I and Cloud Computung Teaching methods need to be improved it depends on the faculty so yeah Internal exams are timed at 2hrs which is easy you will pass easily Practical exams are also easy Modal exam is tough 3hr exam you have study the whole syllabus Sem exam is easy if you have prepared well for model exam

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offers good intership opportunities every year at coimbatore sometimes it might be online or offline it's lasts for one month they don't offer stipends They will give you projects and assignments during the internship

Placement Experience

Placements are offered when you reach 6th semester they will train you for the interviews and all many top companies like infosys, wipro, tcs are also one of the visited companies average package would be 40000 per month highest offered is 80000 per month in infosys 100% students get placements If i get good placement in this college i will do my work there or i might go for PG

Admission

I have applied at EASA college which is very close to AJK I got a confirmed addmission there then i got to know that that college doesn't have enough students and the lab facilities are very poor ,I didn't get rejected from any colleges The addmission process of AJK college is very simple and easy they give you a form you need to fill your personal details such as adress and other things from your adhaar you need to pay 10000 to confirm your admission otherwise you seat may not be confirmed there is no eligibility criteria for AJK if you come through management quota .

Nit Trichy B.Sc. B.ed. student review

Likes

girls to boys ratio is 1:1 is we consider all three branches with some courses with more male while other having for female.more or less the ratio is near 1:1
the most important thing for you is there is close to zero discrimination for you , whether you want to join any club or perform anything you are equivalent to students with others bachelor degree
octagon and library are the two things which are good as library is considered the biggest library among all nit's while octagon having 800 computers for students.NSO ground is also well maintained with the beautiful mig fighter jet to take cool phot

Dislikes

for first years hostel are well maintained if compared with others but don't expect much from hostel atlast this is a government college.in first year 3 to 4 person sharing room are there which was build to carry 2 person.
Quant and entrepreneur thing is not there as you might expect by seeing the nirf 9 ranking but it is not zero .they are growing clubs like profNITT and Sigma are young and they could do better
curfew timing for girls are 9 or 9:30 pm i guess be it any year. for boys ,only freshers have curfew with timing 9:30 pm.other than that any student can't step outside the college after 10 pm without the sign out form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as maths is the mother of all science and quite related to other fields so it opens a lot of door for me like mba ,mtech ,phd or any other things. this course is specifically designed for becoming teachers so keep that in mind before taking this course as they are not flexible in changing curriculum or adding something for the sake of students as of now. also you will be having more working days compared to other courses with 80 percent mandatory attendance.after first sem you will get 1 week holiday and after 2nd sem you will get 50.days holiday and after first year you can expect 20 days holiday for winters and 50 days holiday for summers. you will get a lot of time to study for exams. before ct 1 you can expect 2 months and then atleast a month for ct 2 and endsems. cons are that you don't have the right to choose minor or electives like btech students.you have to compulsory study all three science .i.e. maths , physics, chemistry.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The faculties are very well experienced and there are captains who stay in the campus itself, so if there’s something we need they will be available all the time
The facilitieslike labs, ship in campus, DB tank facilities etc are top notch
The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There’s smart board. Overall everything is really good and also neat and clean

Dislikes

Galley food can improve a little and canteen is comparatively small for such a big campus
They are not conducting intra- college events and inter-college events is very less

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

A Review of the BBA Program Experience at AJK College of Arts & Science

• I chose AJK because of many factors: 1. it's situated in a very interesting spot (in the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu) This not only makes it easyy for both Tamil and Mallu students to attend this college but also gives you the benefits of having holidays from both the governments whether it's Onam or Pongal! 2. The institution is very keen when it comes to making sure the students are active whether it comes to sports or other competitions. A lot of competitions are held including tournaments, inter college competitions, hackathons and cooking competitions! Overall, I chose AJK because of these reasons and because it's easier to travel back home during the holidays • Admission process is very simple, you can either contact them or come to the college directly and secure your admission, just make sure your early with your admission process or else you'll have to pay donation fees to secure your seat due to the demand....Read More
