Course Curriculum Overview

4

I like the ECE course with IOT, VLSI, DSP, etc. Projects are done every semester under faculty supervision. Every exam is 3 hours long. In the first 3 semesters, you will have the ADM, MAOM exam. Spiritual and yoga classes. The course is difficult but that is okay!

Internships Opportunities

1

I dont know . i still did not have any internships i am still in s3 but some of my classmates are doing an internship with WAN writing research papers.Sorry guys, I couldn't help much here! will update a little time later

Placement Experience

3

Students are eligible from S7. CIR start training verbal , sofskill from S3 onwards. Top recuters - Cisco, Infosys, TCS, Wipro,Zoho , SAP Labs For ECE Students - Honeywell, Texas instruments ,Intel. Over 90 - 95% eligible students get placed. Average packages - IT sector - 6 to 8 LPA , Core - 5-7 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Students must write AEEE or JEEmains exam. You can then select your preferred branches and campus in a priority list. According to your scores and available seats in that campus/ scores, a seat will be allotted to you in fee slab 1,2,3,4. Here 1,2,3 are scholarship slabs while 4 are non-scholarship slabs. Continuation of the fee : maintain a minimum GPA for the subsequent years. Failure to meet the Cgpa standards will result i you moving to higher slabs. I am in slab 3 with 250000 rupees and my cgpa is 8.3. For different campus the fee ill be different. Coimbatore has a higher fee compared to the rest. Fee detail will be mentioned in a pdf by amrita.

Campus Life

TS EMCET I got Mallareddy collage in the first round. For Amrita I have written AEEE exam I got an 85 % and for Jee mains 79%.

Faculty

4

The faculty are very approachable and friendly. They remember everything about you. some might be a little partial to non malaliys. for every batch, an advisor and counsellor are appointed. exams are end of sem and mid-sem for every subject. before mid, 2 internals and after mid too. assignments and tests are held. before mid 60% marks, are taken and in end sem, 40 % of marks are taken.

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
