One of the best privet engineering college in West Bengal

Almost in every aspects you will find the college is really good. In event committees you may face some student politics but that are common in any industry so it will ultimately help you to become industry ready. At the end of the day TISL will be your 2nd home and your are really going to miss it after 4 years of college life.

Course curriculum of MAKAUT is not very up to dated but no college can do anything about that till they are affiliated to MAKAUT. But in TISL you learn more than just univarsity curriculum specially FSP trainnings makes you industry ready.

No, the college directly don't provide any internship. But if you apply for any internship or project faculties will help you in every possible way. They will provide you recommandetion latter, if they have knowladge in that field they will even help you in completing your projects.

Placements for ece, cse & it are really good. companies like Microsoft, deloitte, BYJU, SAP LAB, TCS Digital, TCS Ninja, CTS, Wipro, MacCafe, ThougtWorks, Intel, IBM, Indian Nevy and many more come for campus placements. Placements stats are 80-90 % for these departments but, sadly placemnets in ME, CE & EE are not so good. Placements in EIE & FT are average.

In TISL there are many events which are celebrated in a grand way. There is EDGE ( technical fest of TISL), Aanakronas( Cultural fest ), A social fest by NSS club and other than that there are some departmental fests and talks in few departments too.

Fee structure is expensive than govt colleges but very much in range compare to good pvt engineering colleges in India. Total fees will be near about 4.2 lakhs in 4 years. But there is a TFW quota under that the total cost will be within 86k in 4 years.

You can get all the scholarships provided by govt of west bengal for the students of west bengal. Other than that you can get student loan easily from PNB. There is a brunch of PNB inside college & college authorities also help to get the student loan smoothly.

There are plenty of good chances to show case your talent and extra curricular activities. There are football & cricket teams in college, you can join that too. Many sports events also happen in college for each department. So you can say TISL is a very good place for these things.

There is no hostel available in TISL. You can get many good PG, hostels & flats near college. They are really good and not very expensive. All outsider students live there and enjoy city of joy. You will get the numbers just outside the college.

Alumni network is really great in TISL. You can contact any of them in any time and they will help you for sure. Alumni are almost in every field so you can get very good advice from seniors. ECE, CSE & EIE department also arrange there departmental alumni meet so that current students can interact with them easily.

Exam structure follows exactly the exam structure provide by MAKAUT. There will be 2 internal exam, 1 semester exam, 1 term paper & PPT. There will be few more assignments too. Other than that few teachers sometime conduct few quiz to know how much students are really getting from the classes.

I gave WBJEE exam, I got a rank of 7198 there and through that rank I applied for WBJEE counselling process. In the 2nd round I got TISL ECE which I wanted so I took admission after 2nd counselling of WBJEE 2015.

I don't know the faculty of each department but faculties of ECE, CSE, IT and physics are really good. They help you in every aspects. Not just with the academics, after a point of time most of them will be your family. Specially when you will organize any college event you will feel like they are not your professors, they will be your family members who share foods with you, who stay in college until all of you leave college after completing your work.
