What Students Say

Likes

The campus is well structured and monitored by guards
Social interactions are also quiet well and we feel happy to interact with non staff members
Teacher methods are good but need to be improved to some extend

Dislikes

Lack of communication between management
Not have proper knowledge about the current happenings
Subjects are extra which are not at all connected to the course

Course Curriculum Overview

Accounts is my favourite subjects and i want to do career in it that's why i opted for bcom with taxation which can enchance my knowledge towards accounting. Exams are not that tuff but yes taxation and it's rules are quite difficult compare to other subjects

Fees and Financial Aid

I am student of Poornaprajna college and now currently i am doing bcom with taxation which cost me 40180? out of which first 10000? was paid as advance and remaining 30180? out of which 20000 is paid in December as installments and still 10180 is remaining to pay

Campus Life

Yeah here all the cultural and extra curriculum are organised by the faculties where there is a student welfare officer she is really soo supportive towards students and try to reach them whenever they need her soo that's what makes the students to take part

Admission

I had verified all colleges out of which one college is which i am currently studying has made it's name from soo long and was trust worthy but when we enter we actually understand the real things which is not as per we have assumed. But overall it's is okay

Faculty

The faculties are really good but there are some who are really excellent in all the basis especially one of the lecture who always supports and encourage to do better in life irrespective of their marks And there are some lectures who are least concerned about what yhe the students go through

Night Life

Library and public areas are good, we have all the rules and guidelines provided by committee to go for and then gym Museums even there are some canteen and eating facilities are provided in it which is overall a good one

All about Vijaya College RV Road

Likes

They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Forever blessed to education

Likes

Roof top cafeteria i loved it and made memories over there
Amphitheatre I loved it and where we rarely do jaming
And our faculty all of them will be kind with us

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have B.com with Acca , BBA , and bca , in all the sem we will be having 2 internals and 1 pre final of Bangalore University and it consists of 80 marks and in internals we have score more than 16 or we have to rewrite the exam util we get more than 16

My college life

Likes

The campus is clean huge and nature friendly
The teaching faculty is very friendly and supportive
Supportive towards extracurricular activities

Dislikes

Maybe the management because most of the lecturers were replaced
It would be better if we would have a separate playground
More canteen as there are only 2 and it gets crowded

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester many banking and educational institutions have visited our college and our institution also conduct's programs like job fair which helps the students in placement and internship opportunity maybe higher education after getting the degree

Remarks:

No bad remarks, but non sports students should get d opportunity to play sumtime. Not only playing on sports day, competitions which college organise is d best tyng n dat too for lower fees.

I applied many colleges like RV pre university, presidency university,claret university, national pre university, vidya mandir Pre university etc and I have also confirm that RV and vidya mandir were fixed to join but after I heard about widia poorna prajna Pre university college and I visited the campus and I was very excited after returning from the college because this college have well equipped labs and classrooms, teachers, ground and good campus I did not get any rejection from any college I didn't make it there because I was not satisfied with their teaching efforts and I was not having and of my previous school friends and I thought that it would be tough to set to that environment in other colleges and the fees structure went wrong in other colleges which we were not able to afford. The admission process in our college is the moment we enter the college they provide us the application form of our details and they interrogate us with the decision we made to choose our careers and they make us a way through the whole campus and provide us with each and every schedule and plan and information of the college and academics The cutoff for this college was 60 percentage in 10th standard and we should have scored Good marks in all the science subject in 10th standard and we should have good character and behavior to join this college...Read More

Good, easy for students

No, there was no entrance exam. It's not ppc it is poornaprajna evening college, Udupi. The fees were normal as low as 35000. You could easily get time to study and develop useless ourselves. Also, they provide a CA coaching facility at a very nominal rate....Read More
