- The things i liked about my college is the campus as it is in baramulla the view is superb
- Canteen is also good and budget friendly
- Teachers are good with interactions and some teachers are friendly enough to help you out
Dislikes
- It feels more like a school than a university as we have to wear uniform
- The coordinator is also very strict and made a parent's group as if we are kids so it has created alot of pressure and enjoyment is dead somewhere
- They majorly focus on exams and studies so there is no fest tours etc
Course Curriculum Overview
It was coding and computers because of which i chose this course The curriculum doesn't prepare us for real world applications at all I think if instead of focusing on marks attendance of the students they focuses on real life based coding contest tours etc it will help us more The exams are ok ok medium difficulty
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fee for btech any branch is 41225 we have 4 years so it will be around 1,64,900 registration fee is 500 which is not included in yearly fee then there is bus fee if you want to opt it its based on the distance as such there is no good scholarship for students that is known to me
Campus Life
There is no social life campus life fun here no fests no clubs not much sports only football cricket and volleyball is available but no particular ground for any of it they do take on picnic only after you submit an application
Admission
Well i couldn't apply to much colleges as my jee score was not enough so i ended up here Admission process includes you have to give jee exam then based on your merit you will be provided seats in this college after you register here cutoff is different for different branches
Faculty
The faculty is good they even interact in a good way with students but as all know not everyone is same there are few teachers who look down on students My favorite faculty is aqib hussain he teaches engineering drawing and mechanics he is very friendly always have a smile on his face and we feel at ease with him studying etc I dont like my coordinator waseem bakshi as he is always in his sarcasm and never understands the situation of his students There are 2 exams per semester one minor that is held in own college then their is majors in which you are assigned a different college and there are practicals as well.. In first year i think alot of students get backlog as its a new experience but with time it gets better
Night Life
No gym library is closed at 5 i don't live in hostel as heard hostel is hell Famous hang out places will be my canteen and there is a small hill near our campus and the locality is 100% safe there is also an army base camp
