Course Curriculum Overview

I was really choosed this course with my interest and my parents are supposed me to choose architecture and when I was joined her I was enjoying this architecture course with all my friends and faculty

Fees and Financial Aid

1.6 lakh per year and I am very happy to study in the national indian institute of technology Calicut it was very hopeful to me and my family I am enjoying to much with my friends and I am participating in all events and some other activities.

Campus Life

in these national institute technology Calicut I was observed so many different cultures and there are so many intresting place to visit in these kerala I was very happy to choose nit Calicut to spend my b tech life

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are not all good some are bad like they are not providing sports kits to play like shuttle and some other kits like cricket bat and basketball but in c hostel they are providing to students

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I was really choosed this college with my interest because I like kerala nature and their culture festivals and in the kerala the nature was very nice and beautiful there are so many places to visit so I choose nitc

Faculty

Really the faculty are so friendly with all of us and they are explaining the class very detailed and easily and they are treating as their own children I was really proud to our architect faculties and HOD sir

Night Life

I am staying in B hostel, after completing my dinner I was sitting near the small gate and I was enjoying the game play if basketball players who are playing beside the b hostel it was very interesting

life in a campus

Likes

having a best campus life there, high-quality programs are providing
high-quality education, and giving more opportunities to develop our skills
full green campus giving peacefull evinornment

Dislikes

faculties make semester more difficult by giving projects that they dont even have an idea about
some of the faculties have some passuality
strong management and all, but sometimes they are not approachable

we needed to attend a internship program of 100 days in semester 7,thats actually helps to have a real life experience and also get a training before we graduate .also now in semester 9 we need to attend a spetial caurse ,that we can choose based on our intrest , which helps to develop our skills and will have a estra cerfication also.

Number of students in one class is 40.There is only ome batch
canteen facility is needs to be improved
College maintains a healthy environment but infrastructure is average

In first year it is more practical works as basic design includes modeling, paper works, sketching etc...helps to development conceptual, understanding skills. From 4th semester onwards digital works starts. For that provide a class period of cad,revit softwares etc

Admission:

Selection to B.Arch programme is based purely on merit. Selection will be done by SSA giving due weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination and the NATA score. Merit is the only criterion for selection.

Remarks:

The College and College hostel won't let them use phones. Even though phones are allowed in hostels as per government rule. The College is a little strict and still treats us like school students. But the College is free in some terms but controlled a lot.

My college is not so good to live a life in college. It is okay just for study and not for any extra curricular activities so i dont actually prefer my college for a creative student who wants to explore.

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
