Course Curriculum Overview

5

In electronics specifically, they also have programming in first sem, which i personally really appreciated. They also had biology for first to make us familiar with medical devices, they prepared us for real world applications really well

Placement Experience

5

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Fees and Financial Aid

1.4 lakh for the first sem, then around 70 k each sem, For students having annual income between 1 and 5 lakhs, it is 1 lakh for first sem and around 30 k for each sem after If annual income less than 1 lakh or if you're sc/st/pwd it's 80 k for fist sem and around 15 for each sem after

Campus Life

5

Our annual tech fest is called 'Tathva' and our annual cultural fest is called 'Ragam', they're really big events with students coming from all over the state and also from nearby states also Tathva is typicall held in october and Ragam is typically held in march We have library with a great collection of books including a e library where u can also get digital copies Nit C really shines in the sports category, they perform really well during the inter nit events and other competitions, this year also they won the inter nit football, both mens and womens. All clubs here are student ran, cultural and tech clubs are there making campus life really enjoyable

Admission

This college was the closest to my hometown, so that was the main reason, i had also heard that the tech and cultural fests conducted here Are really great. Only jee mains rank is accepted for admissions, for ece course u need above 99 percentile to get admission

Faculty

4

Most faculties are really friendly and approachable, most of them provide proper materials to work out additional to lectures, Internal tests are depended on the faculties, mostly they will be of moderate difficulty

Night Life

5

In first sem we do have curfew till 10 pm but after that no curfew is there, There are two gyms inside the campus itself both with great facilities, there are alsk multiple cafeterias inside the campus itself where u can hang out with friends, a famous hangout spot in the campus is called the amphitheater During night time the campus looks even more beautiful and its absolutely safe to roam at night as security are at every gate 24/7

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
