Truth of my college

Positive thing is you will get an identity as its a reputed college and if you really need a job doesn't matter what then you will definitely get it until you are too much lazy and backdated. Negative things are its faculties, its lab assistance and back dated assignments, which takes too much time but gives no feedback.

The course curriculum is as per the university. There is no separate course. But yes the college provides some technical training and extra curriculum activities which are pretty good. They bring reputed teams for these activities like ethical hacking, aerospace design, robotics etc

No they doesn't entertain internships. But yes they arrange training in reputed company or organisations. Even they don't agrees to allow you for internships if you can't come to college for that. This thing is very unprofessional. And there is no such stipend based training. You will just get a certificate for that.

Tge placement for IT, CS, ECE is extremely good. If you are an average student you will almost surely get a job. A huge amount of sales and marketing company come to recruit students. But the scenario is not good for Civil and mechanical stream. They hardly get core company and that too for top 10 or 15 students. But if are ok with sales and marketing jobs then you will surely get chances to sit around 10 to 12 companies.

College doesn't celebrate the calender events. If your friend circle want to celebrate then you can do that. But college celebrates annual tech fest and departmental fest and cultural fests. These are really good and enjoyable. EDGE is the name of the tech fest amd its arguably the best in kolkata region. There is gaming, fun events adventure sports and lot more.

As its a private institution so its structure is as per the rule. For 4 year you have to pay around 4 lakh. Not that expensive than other colleges. Its almost same comparing to other private colleges. But yes its not cheap like govt. Colleges obviously.

I dont know any scholarship program. But loan, yes may be punjab national bank gives. Because its collaborated with college, so you can ask them for loan. But about the scholarship you need to talk with the administrative officers.

Labs are good. They have almost all equipments. If you are really want to learn then you can do it. But the lab assistants or faculties are not that good to help you. Computer labs has well amount of set ups for individuals. College has a play ground not with any type of goal post or something like that. If you can arrange them then you can play.

There is no such hostel for this college. During the admission there are some stall to give you rent rooms or you have to find some pg or hostel. This is one of the reason you will miss your hostel life.

Yes you will definitely get the help of seniors. They are helpful. The seniors are well placed in various MNC, and you will get references for that. And guide also. During the annual fest aome of them come also. You can learn extracurricular things from them like robotics, gaming, singing dancing etc.

Exam structure is simple. Its as per the university rules. The internal and lab exams are conducted by college as per its will. In 1st and 2nd year you need to study for internal exams after that if you are familiar with teachers then you will get marks doesn't matter how good your paper was and same goes for lab too.

The admission process was so easy. According to the JEE MAINS rank i was selected and then some official work I was got admitted. There was no interview. Just come on the date as per their SMS and submit some official documents like fitness certificate some legal documents etc.

To be very honest if you are planning to learn things at college then it may not be easy for you. Because some faculties are really not up to the mark. But some are really very good and helpful. If you behave properly and come to college regularly you will get good marks in your internal exams.
