What Students Say

Likes

Our college was woman college.there I got many friends and still we are in touch college is such a different kind of world

Dislikes

I think there should be discipline also. Students are allowed to class even they are very much late .

Course Curriculum Overview

Don't know. I think history geography english they are helpful for me. Now I m preparing for competitive exams . So it helps me a lot. Our exams were very tough and marking was very hard . Those exams taught me to cover whole syllabus in one month. I never did this before.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fee was 6000 rs. Now I don't have any idea that it's increasing or not but may it's increasing. I m from general category but some friends of mine were from sc/st they got relaxation of 1500-2000 rs and our college was a government college so government used to give them some money monthly or once in 6 months. And the other merit students got scholarship of 2000 rs. Per year in the annual function.

Campus Life

Yaa in our college after our admission a fresher party happens every year for first year students welcome ceremony. There girls wear Nice dresses suit ,saree, lehanga etc.ncc & nss camps were organised in our college.

Admission

So actually this college was near to my village. So I decided to study from there . I don't know how to drive vehicles so I used to go my college by auto three vehilleer. No I didn't get any rejection from any college. My 12th class was good enough for me to get admission in colleges of haryana. I just filled the application form and got selected there.

Faculty

There were 4 exams in each semester. We have to write a lot of. Our teachers were humble . Our English teacher was very beautiful. She belongs to punjab. Our college is situated in haryana. I love punjabi language.

Night Life

I don't about nightlife routine. Bcs our college timings were 9-5. I don't think there should be anyone after 5 pm. All students were at their home in night. No on allowed to stay in college.there are no hostel facility.

A Great option, if you can bear the rowdiness of Haryanvi culture.

Likes

Top of the line infrastructure and facilities in classrooms.
Very good choice and quality of food. Multiple cafeterias.
Robust and excellent student led initiatives including clubs and events.

Dislikes

Major issue is presence of disruptive, heavily misbehaving students, mostly from villages in Haryana
Very far from the city with connectivity going through village roads

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered at Final year of the degree. I am not opting for placements but University seems to be trying it's best to give all students the opportunity. Atleast 5 companies have offered us positions. Mostly in the education field. They are medium to large companies.

My Positive Journey at JGU

Likes

My Overall Experience at JSLL has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I get so annoyed when people assume my English degree means i am just going to end up teaching at a school. Our placements show we are taking on corporate roles in content strategy, UX writing, public policy, and even training AI models. I have seen people from my program getting hired by recruiters like Republic Media Network, ITC Hotels, Simplotel, Growth Jockey, and IOTA Informatics. Whether I want to go into publishing, consulting, or corporate communications, the doors are wide open for roles that actually matter right now.

Likes

My Overall Experience at college has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I feel pretty secure about my career because our training opens door that normal degrees just can't match. Our seniors land roles as risk analysts and foreign policy researchers, even secruing great spots at top think tanks right after graduation. Some even interned at Niiti Consulting, and others got into ShowTime Consulting and Stimuler. Seeing people land roles at Lead Tech and the BCG Graduate Apprenticeship Program gives me massive confidence for placements.

Likes

My overall experience at JGU has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I feel so relieved my seniors because our job placements had so much variety. I love that JSPC doesn't just box us into one specific career path. I saw huge consulting firms like PwC UK and BCG hiring right next to tech names like Zomato, OneBanc, and Kanerika. I also noticed great roles at places like Bal Raksha Bharat and Mom's Belief for anyone wanting to do advocacy, psychology, or therapy. I honestly feel like my career can go anywhere now.

Likes

The Faculty of JGU highly qualified, my overall experience at JGU has been execellent.

Placement Experience:

At JGU, the Office of Career Services puts a lot of effort into preparing us for the competitive industry in digital media, podcasts, investigative reporting, multimedia storytelling, and data journalism. We have an exceptional alumni network with students who have graduated from our college and become political reports at The Hindu or media consultants for the UAE-India council, or even bagged the role of anchors at NewX and ET TV. The intense training that we get makes us ready for the industry. The institution helps us a great deal in shaping our resumes.

JGU is delightful place!!

Likes

JGU Campus can match any international campus as it is that kind of a campus.
We have a sports stadium inside the university and nearly 20 sports facilities are included within.
Campus offers a splendid night life as well as students here can be seen roaming at the campus till 2 am as it is new normal here.

Dislikes

Most students here are not so serious about studies here as they are rich brats.
Intenrships we still have to find on our own as college doesn't provide from their end.

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.
