A journey worth sharing

Infrastructure is far better than new IITs. As I am currently in iitandi and my friends in new IITs like Hyderabad and jodhpur often discuss this.But old professor and the monotonous way of exam is a speed braker in it's student growth and all round development. Hoping for relative marking soon

Course curriculum is nice but for biotech prespective it is pretty old now. You have to go through the same things through out your curriculum,like say for an ex enzyme kinetic we have learned in approximately three to four subject in different module each. Through the current curriculum you would get wide spectrum of biotech field but no confined direction it would provide like say for it won't focused on modern biotech demands and hotspot area of research like computational approach to deal health and research related challenge. You won't be encountered with system biology related area.They mainly focused on bioprocess aspect of the biotech sector. Nano biotech is not added as a subject in the syllabus. The one more bad thing that I have perceive that they are not focusing on bioinformatics also.

No, particularly in biotech domain there is no such option there but if you are from c.s , IT , ECE, EEE, Civil engineering, mechanical engineering. Then you can easily bag a internship in your second or third year.

Almost all people from c.s IT got placed there with handsome salery. ECE, EEE, mechanical got good placement opportunity. While there is tough to get placed in chemical production and in civial engineering. For biotech no chance as there is no core company but your hope is still on some consultancy companies like Infosys , zs associated, future first and also you can go for it goes in some good company like direct I , Microland(one guy From my class placed there at 10 lpa ) and sometime in mu sigma.

There is major pantheon as a tech fest there. Apart from a common platform specialized branch have there own club and organize that conduct fest in there own area. Bitotsav is the cultural fest there which is celebrated in spring semester every year.

Too much expensive. At my time it was around 8.24 lakh tution fee excluding mess fee. Now it might be around 11 lakh for four year b.tech course excluding mess fee. You have to pay mess fee each semester which would be around 20k per sem now.

If you cross 8 gpa in a particuly semester than you would get scholarship of 20%of your scholarship and I you cross 8.5gpa you would receive 50%of your tution fee as a scholarship by bit go birla scholarship. Also there is a loan facilities from Campus branch bank like SBI and uco bank.

There is music ,literary, sports etc club where one can enroll and can perform his/her extracurricular activities. The environment is nice to work there sineors are really good there , they will taught you a lot during the club activities.

Hostel facilities are excellent. you got a single room from your second year. Large screen Led to for your ipl, daily news and football match watching. In front of your hostel you have small shop for buying your daily stuff.

Alumuni network of bit mesra is very strong. Since, it has celebrated it's 60yrs of foundation. Bitmaa alumuni network of bit mesra is currently sending at least 10-15studrnt from each department for summer internship. Seniors helps in passing exam as they are the god during the exam time.Since they provide you notes

25 marks for mid semester 15 marks assignment 60 marks end semester You would get total 30 marks question in mid sem but if you cross 25 that marks would be nullified. And in end sem you have to study only five module out of seven and you r bound to answer from only 5 module. While till mid sem you have to three module and questions will come from only those three modules.

Through online counseling via jee mains all India rank. I did online counseling but till third round I didn't get any good college because of my low rank and general cateogary. So I go for spot round and also there didn't fetch my seat.Then comes institute spot round where I applied and got biotech branch.

Some of them are really good but most of them are demotivated. It won't seems to at least me that I am in India's best college and with the best team of professor. Most of them from Ranchi University with probably no experience of teaching and research. We usually spent our time in playing mili militia like game during the class room. Now, you can imagine what was the level of the noble professor there. And most disgusting thing I perceive there is the internal politics between the professors.
