I liked the college campus a lot, it is really good and gives a really good vibe, we friends like to spend time in the campus together in any of the 2 canteens present in the college, the campus is full of trees and greenery .
The college has really competitive students and good and smart peer group which is a really good thing.
The girls and boy ratio is decent, better than most of the other colleges

Dislikes

People mostly prefer to speak their local language that is marathi which makes it difficult for all india students
Few professor are really bad at teaching and neither do they give good grades
Very limited students can get college hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not that good , it is just like other indian colleges. The 1st year is full of shit subjects which are not related to our branch. The curriculum should completely focus on our branch from 1st year itself. Their are stupid subjects like biology in 1st year which is not even needed. Difficulty of exams is not that much if you study properly

Internships Opportunities

The intership opportunity of college are really good as i heard from seniors as it is an old and know college so companies prefer this college for placement and internship. Few people even get internship in 2nd year

Placement Experience

Placements of college are really good, top branches have good placements like cse has avg package of 17.5lpa. few people also get placed in 3rd year. College hai around 85% placement which is really good. I would probably go for placement.

I got admission throught all india quota. So my fee structure is - Tution fees - 17000 Development fees - 91700 Other fees - 45030 Examination fees - 2750 Micelleneous fees - 6760 Total fees payable - 163240

Campus Life

Mind spark is the tech fest Impression is annual fest Psf is start up fest Zest sports fest Gathering These are the main fests which are organised nicely Library is really good and has a range of books in it . Their are a lot of extracurricular activities, u will get tired of doing them...lots of clubs fests etc.

Admission

I also applied for other colleges like iiits and nits but i wantes top branches that is cse or ece thats it so nits were not in my list, and iiits that i were getting like iiit sri city and all were new and their was campus was not yet built so the ideal option i was left with was coep.

Faculty

Their are around 88 students in our class which are furthur divided into 4 batches for lab practical. Few teachers like deepak kolkar for EM and madhuri shinde for MCP are really really good at teaching ,Their are 2 sem in 1 year and each sem has 2 exams i.e. mid sem and end sem. In between their are few internal exams and all but those are mostly online.

Night Life

The college consists of a gym, badminton court , table tennis . It has 2 canteens i.e. meta and bcc. The canteen are main hangout spots of the college and the students like to spend most of their time in canteens.

Inside Life at GHRCEM: Placement, Faculty and Campus Reality

Likes

The teaching staff is very well educated and friendly nature with student.
Campus is big and also has turf cricket, football ground and big sand ground .
celebrating days and festivals like Ganpati , Navratri, shivjayanti.

Dislikes

lablary staff is very strict and making issues every time
infrestructure is not that much attractive
College Gym i presonaly not like has no good equipments

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

The campus of the college is small but it's envoirment is good and the college is not in outskirts of the city with minimal transportation facilities. There is pune metro station just after coming outside of the college
The canteen facility is good and the rates are not high . It's completely affordable

Dislikes

Some of the staff in college has very big attitude issues . Mostly the First year depart staff .
The college is more strict for uniform and id card which i personally don't like

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Cafeteria is large occupy measures pace for all students
Library has all book that require for degree
Wide campus for other culture activities

Dislikes

Only one event jashne theem in one year rest only study.
Do not have generator facilities if the light is gone there will be no other supplementary for electricity
If you are facing any difficulty in facility related it will take very much time to resolved it

Course Curriculum Overview:

My god is information technology and it is very relevance and comparison in theme College of engineering having string stuff and rules and regulation in IT they are not providing more facilities like PC and other you have to study your own

Likes

Overall campus of the college. It has big and natural environment in campus area with greenery.
Faculties here are supportive and well experienced and help us lot in academics.
College has very good infrastructure provides all necessary facilities.

Dislikes

Placement are very low here very few companies come for placement.
College timing is complete day means from 9 am to 4 or 5
Railway station is too far from college.

Placement Experience:

placements here are quiet average means very few companies visit college for placement and average package offered is 3 lacs. Main students placed through College placements but the package is not to high it's average ranging from 3 to 6 lpa

COEP - Another Life for College

Likes

The campus of our college which was divided into 2 sides of road and it's greenery and architecture of each branch building.
Technical Fest that motivated youngsters to showcase their potential including MindSpark, COEP Zest, Impressions and the Gathering that used to make our college life memorable with full of events and activities
Relative Grading in CGPA for each subjects where grade range for each pointer was decided on relative performance of all batch students

Dislikes

Lectures especially the theory lectures during afternoon time after lunch was a challenge to listen and be attentive and focused.
Student section members of college were to some extent rude when it comes to handling with documentation work.
Hostel rooms especially of first year H block were not that much good and clean.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

College is good faculty is very nice for our branch
Faculty has good qualification and is good towards students
Infrastructure is good , campus is huge we have a very big canteen with a backgate

Dislikes

A lot of language barrier because there are many Maharashtrians
Canteen cannot fit more than 100 people and service is slow
Less hangout spots and a very average annual fest

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester after their exams average package is 4lakhs per year this year's infact highest was 12lakhs per year in our department 90% students get placed companies like thermax ,reliance , sun pharma , bharat petroleum visit our college

Likes

Highly qualified teching faculty, Discipline
Helping Senior, Anti-ragging cell also there.
The campus is between wood so it is very Green and clean Campus.

Dislikes

Canteen Hygiene is bad, cost of food is in budget.
Lab facility is not too good some computers are not working.
There is very hot climate in class room due to lack of fans and the alignment of the fans in some classrooms are not proper .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching is very good and they always set the best examples to understand the concept.. And they are well believed in practical knowledge with their students. They are well consistent and working hard in learning and understanding the cybersecurity.

The thing I like about college is there is environment for the students who are willing to do something and are trying hard to get some skills.
Tech Culture is good for CS Major, like you will get the senior support for the update regarding new tech event and to support the junior for new skills learning and trends going on.
Some of staff will really help you regarding your problems or even what to do next

Dislikes

The teaching faculty focus more on syllabus rather than actual skills
The college Campus is so small there are only 2 building ( in which only one has lift )for all engineering branches and the ground is very dusty and small
There No big canteen for students only has cafe and one more thing (college shuru hote hi khtm ho jata hai)

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud,iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
