Remarks

It is a very renowned college of delhi university. It allows students to gain best exposure from delhi university. College gives you several opportunities to overcome fear of yours by getting involved in seminars and all. Various socities are there which teaches you concerned important ethics.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have different subjects every semester. Almost every aspect is taken care of. The syllabus is designed very carefully and it is made sure my authorities that students are getting an overall knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

yes, we are provided with internships. We are given a chance to learn things at the right age. Stipend varies from 5000-8000 pm, but the experience you get is unbeatable.we are provides with interns in sales department. Some interns focus on our marketing skills.

Placement Experience

Placements of our college is fantastic. Companies keep visiting our campus on a regular basis. We are provided with an opportunity to work with big 4 auditing firms. Many other firms like , marketing comapnies, digital service providing companies keep providing us opportunities.

Fee structure is very feasible. Bachelor's degree costs you 25000 only. Middle class student can surely afford to be a part of such prestigious institute without any hesitation. And moreover, you need to pay 25000 in 3 installments.

Our college offers scholarship to the students who perform good in academics. They have fixed some conditions which are needed to be fulfilled. Our college provides extra edge to students of other country.

Our college have two computer labs. Labs are equipped with latest systems and projectors. We have indoor sports facilities like table tennis, chess, carrom. We have a cricket ground. Net for volleyball is also there at ground.

Hostel Facilities

We dont have hostel facility. But we do have great infra. We have auditorium, we have a great canteen which offers food at very nominal rates. We have a common room for girls. We have two spacious lawns as well.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very helpful. They are always very happy to help us. They provide us with the best of their knowledge in every situation. They help us in choosing subjects, getting notes. Siddharth malhotra, who is a very popular bollywood actor, is a passout from our college.

Exam Structure

We have semester exams every 6 months. We are provided with semester breaks to prepare for our exams. We have much preparatory holidays in between so that we can make sure that we are going to prepare well.

Admission

I passed my class 12 from CBSE board. Merit list for various colleges were released on website of delhi university. I applied to this college online by filling a form of delhi university. I got my documents verified , paid fee online, and started my college life in 2016.

We have highly educated faculty at our college. Many of our teachers conduct seminars at foreign universities. Many have published books of their own. We have the best guiding teaching force. Our teachers conduct tutorial classes in order to clear doubts of students.

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size

I applied for other colleges such as Banaras Hindu University and Jamia Millia Islamia but and got confirm the admission there but I choose this college over others because of course. No I didn't get rejection from any other college. To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ).
