Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course curriculum in regards to Computer Science is average and sometimes bad. There are no implemenation of real world used Softwares like Kafka,Grafana and emerging technologies like Hyperledger Fabric are not present in Verticals. The course Curriculum can be improved by increasing more lab sessions and making mini projects count in internal marks.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are excellent in this college for the fee. The students become eligible from 6th semester. The companies that have visited include Autodesk, Microsoft, Deloitte etc. The highest package was 46 Lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is 97.6% and I am planning to go for college placments only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise Fee I pay is 130000 rupees. The tution fee is 55000 rupees. The registration fee is 2000 rupees. The lab and development fee varies by semester but its mostly 500 rupees. There is a semester fee approx 3000 rupees. The fee for all GQ students is same but it varies with MQ students. There are SC/ST scholarships available but there is not merit based scholarship that is provided by college

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is the club which overlooks most of the major events that occurs in College .They invite celebrities for events. The library often has multiple copies of the same book so that multiple students can borrow the same books. Some classes have Projector Facilities for PPT presenations and some dont.As far as sports is concerned it is not given that much importance.

Admission

I applied to many other colleges like Venkateshwara Engineering College, RajaLakshmi Engineering College etc. Due to a mistake in counselling order I got this college. I didnt get rejection from other college as I personally made a mistake in the order. The admission process was easy with needing to submit copies of essential documents. There was no entrance exams and the minimum cutoff needed for this college is 130 and maximum is 200.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is above below 0.1.The faculties are very much approachable by students though it varies from department to department. There are a total of 2 Continuous Assessment test and 2 Unit tests. There is one single end semester exam. The students clear the exams moderately and most students fail in difficult subjects. The course curriculum is not relevant in regards to Computer Science.

Night Life

4

The nightlife is good. There are around 3 to 4 gyms around that area which students go to. There are multiple Cafe's and Food Stalls surrounding that area. The famous hangout place for students include College Canteen, the parking area, the auditorium. On the outside it includes mulitple Cafe's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
