I applied to several colleges for my PGDM, including SOIL School of Business Design, IBS,IMI Bhuvneshwar. I received confirmed admissions from SOIL . I chose SOIL over others due to its unique focus on leadership and personal development through programs like the '5 Pillars of Inspired Leadership,' which align well with my career goals in marketing. Additionally, SOIL has a strong industry network. I didn’t make it to IMT Ghaziabad due to a lower score in the group discussion round, where I felt I could have presented my arguments more effectively. The competition was intense, and I learned the importance of structured communication in such rounds. The admission process at SOIL was straightforward. Anyone with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience is eligible to enroll. The application forms along with deadlines are clearly stated on their website. Scholarships are also available based on Academics, Family income, and if parents belong to a defense background. There are 3 rounds in the interview process starting with the STAT test, then the Group discussion, and finally the personal interview round post in which an offer of admission is released. There are also some essays the student is required to write and submit as part of the admission process. The entire process can span anywhere between 10-15 days and sometimes longer depending on the slot availability.
