A UNIVERSITY THAT IS DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER.
The college must change some of the rules. The college should allow the students to leave the campus without taking the permission of parents. If not, then the students must be taken for a trip after some time.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Expensive, as it cost approximately 6 lacs for the three years fees wise. On top of that, 1 lac for food outside mess and expenses to visit home in vacations. So overall yes, the fee structure is expensive.
Good companies come for placements. The highest package is 5 LPA though. I would give an average for the placements. Not if you want to go for post graduation. For graduation the placement is decent.
I filled the admission form online. Then after my 12th results. I received a call from the college telling me to attend the Personal Interview and counselling. I went to give the Personal Interview and counselling after which I was selected for admission.
The new hostels are very clean and the facilities are good. The old hostels are no doubt not good enough. But the new hostels have new beds, good wardrobes, and good full length mirrors. The food was also good.
The alumni of the college is very famous. We had some Facebook pages and groups where alumni of the college where added. Before taking admission in the college , I had a conversation with the alumni just to get clarity on some aspects.
The faculty of the college is well educated most of them having studied in the same university. They were extremely friendly and were always ready to solve the problems of students. They never used to get irritated.
The extracurricular activities are vast. The colleges believe in panchmukhi shiksha. There are different extracurricular activities available in university. Like horse riding, various sports, yoga, dance, music, shooting etc.
Two periodicals of ten marks each and a semester exam of fourty marks. There are six semesters and twelve periodicals in three years. Questions were usually from the syllabus only. Questions were easy to moderate.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The curriculum of the course was very vast and challenging. It gave me an introduction to various concepts on my area of interest. There were subjects related to everything that can be applied in the practical life in future.
No, the college asked us to take an internship but didn't help us to get an internship. It was a summer project given to us that meant a lot for the overall score. I did my internship in BHEL, and I didn't get any stipend.
There are various events celebrated in the university. Every department organizes its separate event. My department (BBA) used to organize navotkarsh. The event included singing, dancing, play and other academic competitions.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
No, I haven't. Because my father wasn't in need of any loan to deposit my fees. He had enough money to deposit the installments. And so I have no knowledge of what scholarship and loan facility is provided by the college.
