Admission

At the time of counselling I also looked for the college like DDU Gorakhpur,DU,MMM Gorakhpur, IET Lucknow. I choose this college because this is the best college as per my rank and having a best placement of 100% and serving the nation being a fire fighter . No I did not get rejected from any of the above colleges but I did not joined them. For admission in National fire service college first you have to apply for the admission, after that you will be shortlisted for the medical examination, if you are completely fit you will be selected definitely. This college provides admission on the basis of JEE mains rank.

Faculty

5

In first semester ,guest faculty will be there for taking class lecture. There are 69 students in a batch. As per my experience , most of the guest faculty are very supportive and help students a lot . There are two terminal examinations name T-1 and T-2 before semester or university examination.Practical examinations are also there in which you have to write the theoretical part of the practical which includes Aim , Apparatus,Theory, Diagram,Observation table, Calculation, Procedure, Precaution and finally result . External examinations are taken by External Faculty ( other college faculty). Viva is done by subject teachers in internal exam and by external faculty in external viva exam. If you focus in class properly and regular student in class and completing work in class you can easily pass any of the above exam with high score.Very less students fail in exam .Our course is now as per NEP2020, so there are many changes in the syllabus or you can say syllabus is fully changed . The course is best suited for fire engineerig as students will be able to learn about from just second semester.Fire Ground Operation (FGO) is compulsory for everyone till 3rd year as per NEP.In first semester there squad drill in FGO,from second semester hose , hose drill ,hydrant ,....,etc are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
