Remarks

This college is one of the most reputed college in the state and this college has everything that a college should have just the case with election causes lots of disturbance in the studies of other students

Its pretty nice, the course is devides into 6 semester and 14 cores . Excluding pass subjects, students appear for six internals(mid sem) and six semester exams which includes practicals.on the basis of marks scored in all exams, final percentage is calculated

No placement yet from this college. i am studying statistics honours in which no internship activities are carried out although field projects are done but that also only in the third year of tha course

College Events

Independence day, Republic day, Ncc day, Gandhi jayanti, Debates, Quizes and also a stdent election is held in which college president is elected by the students but tha process often cause lots of nuisance

Extracurricular activities includes sports like cricket, football, kho kho, basketball, the college organises cricket tournament every year in which college students participate in large numbers.

Hostel Facilities

No i haven't opted for hostel as i stay with my parents, but the boys hostel is being re built and tha girls hostel is quite good as far as cleanliness and security is concerned, girls aren't allowed to roam late night or even before 6 am

This college is strictly ragging free and as far as i know, no such cases has been found, if found, the deceased is expelled immediately from the college otherwise the seniors are quite helpful in academics

Admission

Online form in which you choose five colleges in the city, according to preference then a merit list based on hsc marks come out.which says which college is selected if happy, admission done or else wait for next list which generally gives you college of higher preferance

Faculty

Faculty are more or less not upto the mark. teachers dont follow good teaching techniques and tha class room condition is not good as well.but some of the teachers are good. mostly the head of each departments

Likes

The campus life after college hours is quite engaging and helps us develop as a person.
Extra curricular activities are into multiple options.
Faculties are good in nature,they teach us like a friend.

Dislikes

Bad condition of the washrooms ,not cleaned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the real projects which help learn more practically. It would had been better to have more site and industrial visits and export sessions to learn better.The exams are not so difficulty to score.

Teachers are cooperative. If you have any doubt you could ask the respective teacher freely.
Have proper system. Everything done on time.
Campus is good and available all most all facilities.

Dislikes

May be the protest for exam unnecessarily

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 5 out of 5 to this course curriculum in terms of relevance and Comolrehesiveness. As most of the student know there are 2 semester in a year and also 2 mid semesters. I think the difficulty level depend on student.

Ravenshaw is the best

Likes

Different types of sports available and support of staff
Big playground with long stage where all pogramm happens
Kanika library and e resource which provide us all necessary books

Dislikes

I dislike interfere of politics in college
Absence of students in class room which makes teachers uncomfortable
Less area of University campus for future development

Placement Experience:

I don't know more about how placement season in ravenshaw. But mu friend study in BBA department ,he said in our college 80% of students get placement. They get avarage 16 lakh per annum salary. Our university alumni are very strong and they Collab with various big companies.

Likes

Our college has really good faculty who have really high expertise in their own subjects
It has a lot of facilities and amenities
The college has labs which provide proper practical experience

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be improved and made more better
Could have better opportunities for the future
The sports facilities also could be improved

Students become eligible in 4th year for campus placement Multiple Ngos and agricultural companies make offers 80% students get placements After getting degree i plan to get higher studies and also prepare for competitive exams like oas
