The number of courses they provide for the students
The availability of teacher in the stuff
The teacher takes their classes regularly

The behavior of the college stuff is not so good
The security guard behaves very rudely with the students
The security guard always misbehave with the students especially with the boys

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching stuffs of the department and the hod and the teacher especially and my interest in physics to gain knowledge,i think our department is the best option for me to choose in my life and yeah i would never regret about it,but some of the teacher are not so frank with the students as aspected.

Class Size: 1600Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is generally 7500 and its 550 for students who have annual income below 650 rs and their is reservation quota for sc st tribes,the faculty are always active but a little bit rude to the students who are underconfident

Campus Life

The campus is very much nature friendly and biodiversity conservation is very much overwhelming its a beautiful campus it contains a gallery in the campus for gissips and chilling with friends which is a depression free moment for me

Admission

The only college i applied for it was the digboi college,i have to run ups and down very much during my admission,on the door to door of every science department and which is very much fainting process

Faculty

The exam system is so so ,they show lots of rules and regulations but they are strict towards the education,there are many faculty members who misbehave with us ,per semester exam contains 2 sesional exam and one end semester exam.The security guard always misbehave with us always

Interview Experience

Yes due to lost of name in the merit list i have to run very much for admission every 1 to 2 day during admission which was a disgusting moment for me as i have to travel 100 of kms every day for 30 -40 mins

Night Life

At night there are no classes in our college but it contains a tight security although every time ,its a safe place during the night too its contains lots of light in the college for students of hostels

I hate the drinking water facility because it's not there

I would rate in quite highly in terms of both relevant and competative the subjects are well aligned and current industry standards and current needs it includes both theoretical need and both practical need at the same time..

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college.
Our college have enough rooms and halls to accommodate huge number of students
Digitalisation in teaching methods in all classrooms.

Dislikes

Toilet is still not clean as promised by our GS.
Lack of equipments in practical laboratories.
Cleanliness and hygiene are a bit off track.

I choose this course i.e. department of Botany because the department ensuring a strong theoretical foundations along with the practical experience. The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. Some sections of the course should be updated to meet the latest technology, more guests lectures and the interships should be provided to the students. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Our department (botany) has well experienced and knowledgeable professor's who guided us both practically and theruotically which help us to gain knowledge at a faster rate
The most important thing is that our department always go for practical experience i.e.through trip.
The department often conducts seminars and guest lecturers

Dislikes

As a student of Aryavidyadpeeth college, it is very difficult to be part of our college,as the department is very popular
Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding
There is a very limited seats in hostel, the outstation students faces many difficulties to stay nearby the college.

Scholarly help and studying materials related to the course are provided by the college however the result are mostly based on self studying due to inefficient management by faculties. The college lacks proper workshops and programs to prepare the students for real world circumstances.

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

The requirements for 1st semester students is to choose 7 subjects. Core subject, Minor subject, SEC (skill enhancement course), IDC (inter disciplinary course), AEC (ability enhancement course) and two compulsory VAC (value added courses) of EVS and AIS (ancient Indian studies)

The decision to choose this course was my seniors. My seniors are part of this college and I get to know many things about this college from them. The atmosphere attracted me towards this college. The exams are conducted on time.

I have no bad remarks about the college because the college is located in the lush green area and has all the facilities for the students such as a computer lab, library, canteen, drinking water plant, and playgrounds.

Entrance Preview:

Firstly, we had to apply for respective departments which one wants to take an honours. Then ,cut off percent is taken out and students are given admission to that department as honours student.
