- The campus is very well organised and built, you got everything so well located like the location of canteen right next to academic block and all the departments connected well to each other.
- The outgoing and incoming timings for all the students like we can o out of the campus as our convenient time but as for safety all this has to be done before 11pm
- The wide range of societies option that dtu gives as of you passion you ca join dance ,singing , sports,fests management or tech societied
Dislikes
- There's hardly anything that i disliked about dtu except its location that is Rohini side
- After any fest the gaurds force us to either leave campus or to go back to our hostels to clear the ground which creates a big chaos
- The mess timings of dtu sre such a big problem that mess starts at 7:30 a for breakfast and you have your class at 8 am so there's rush in mess and if you take dinner timings,its from 7:30 pm to 9:30 which makes its pretty obv tha you''ll feel hungry
Course Curriculum Overview
My course which is mechanical engineering is core branch of btech. The learnings and experiences in this course are too life relating and if you are a physics lover you must go for it. Dtu also has a reputative past for mechanical engineering packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees for everything involving academics ,labs and tuition is 2,36000 for first year 2,46000 for 2nd year and 2,66000 for 3rd and 2,86000 for the last year.hostel fees is 58000 and mess fees is 35000 . There is no such fees concession for any category but dtu gives a scholarship for low income students.
Campus Life
Campus is very very very fascinating . The infrastructure,the buildings,the quick snack points, ground etc everything is welll built and maintained. Even the roads are too secured with barricades so that there wont be any vehicle
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are not so good not so bad for first yea students. If tou take a little bit late hostel then you have to share a 3 student room to 5 students and for first year students there are not wifi facilities. The mess is very close to hostel so no prblm in that and timing are also good ,we allowed to roam till 11 pm but attendance must be marked latest by 10:30 which actually starts at 9:30
Admission
I chose dtu as it was my dream college and i chose it over other colleges where i applied because of the reputation i holds. I also got option to chose civil engineering in nit nagaland but it would have been too far to travel and same goes with cs in smvdu college. Dtu provides a proper facility for everything
Faculty
The faculty that i had in previous semester was quite good weather its lab faculty or class. Every teacher and professor was so much cooperative and tries to cope with student's speed and level. Lab teachers also tries to help you out at max level which wont even affect your learing and thinking level
Night Life
The night lide is pretty good. The vold breeze due to very well maintained greenery and you can even go our with your friends and chill at nearby cafes and while staying in campus you can spend some quality time while chilling at raj soin hall or sports complex ground
