Course Curriculum Overview

2

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st semester = 134000 + 12500 = 146500 2nd semester= 134000 3rd semester= 138000 4th semester= 138000 5th semester= 142000 6th semester= 142000 7th semester= 146000 ( Will be paying) 8th semester= 146000 ( will be paying) This is fees for Btech and now for new admissions it is 1.5 lakh per semester exactly.

Campus Life

2

In October or November we get our annual fest called " momentum" which is the only big event, where singers come..it is a 2- day event and it ends at 9-10pm completely.. Library is also there we have many books and we can get them issued too. Within classrooms we have white board , projector, good lighting ,good seating and basically a good infrastructure.. We do have a sports room but we don't even get time to play. but we can issue balls, rackets to play in basketball court and badminton..i have seen students play cricket. We have many clubs. I have even participated in sports club and have organised several events and participated too but then I left as it required a lot of work .there are many clubs with student and teacher incharge of each club..

Admission

I applied for IPU but my family didn't wait for the results from that college that am I selected or not. other students of my age were getting admissios so they wanted me to also get admitted as soon as possible. They also didn't want that I stay away from home so this was the closest college and in gurgaon it is better than any other college. so I tried here I and I got easily admitted. this was actually not ony list but here I am. I had a JEE score of 70 percentile and with this I got my admission letter. they also have a college exam who don't have a JEE score...they need to do a paper made by college and if they pass then they get admission too.

Faculty

3

Ratio of faculty student is good i guess. faculties are only approachable during college hours. some are very supportive and understand students. but not all as I have seen them being unfair with other students. Prachi ma'am and. Garima ma'am are faculties that I love they have been very supportive when we had an issue with one of our teachers and also in general, they are always ready to help and always there for us . In each semester we have two exams one minor and one major. minor = 30% Major= 70% And we need 40% in total to pass. Exams are made by college faculty so difficulty level depends.i would say it is moderate in minor but mahirs are a little tough. Students do fail a lot. many even get detained because of low attendance..70% attendance is mandatory in our college. Course curriculum is relevant. but I feel some subjects that are added for our grooming and interview are good initiative but it is increasing our pressure a lot...

Night Life

1

Gym in our college is very small ..they don't have a wide range of weights ..we have 3 cafes....cafe 1 where we get only paket food. Then cafe 10 where we can get cooked food ...it offers reasonable price then Nescafe where I felt find things expensive.. Library is open till 8 or 9 pm.. College is almost empty by 6 pm .. I am a day scholar so I don't stay in college for that long ... Outside our college there is a cafe right beside it...and also a famous spot OTS where ull find many students smoking, having tea ..I eat patties there..and also there is a biryani spot which is very tasty......I don't stay till night so I can't tell about night life

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy. Lookout for some exams because the faculty sometimes makes tough and tricky paper just to fail students
